No Bouncies

While I was away, there was a sign up for a kick ball team for work. I missed out. So I want to start my own damn kickball team. With hookers and blackjack.

Seneca Park Kickball

Starts the week after labor day
Money due by the end of month
$300
14 max team members
10 on the field

The hard part is that you need to have at least 5 girls on the field at once. Do we even know 5 girls that we'd trust out there?

What is really neat is the map of the US that has some of the drinking restrictions. Apparently, somone under 21 in Kentucky may consume alcohol.

I figure our potential females would be:

Cheryl

And that's all that I know

Phil on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 5:48 PM

regarding fantasy football:
any chance we could lower the passing bonus down to 250 yards and add a rushing bonus at 100 yards? Right now running backs that carry most of the load and then have someone like Brandon Jacobs are practically useless. I had the #4 RB in the league last year and he was practically useless.

Brock on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 5:51 PM

Sound like good ideas to me. Honestly, I haven't even looked at the scoring, just used last years. When I get a moment (maybe never), I'll go through it and propose changes or query for input.

When does the season start? So I know when the deadline to have a draft is?

Phil on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 6:27 PM

My flag football league starts the 29th. Anyone think we could get enough people together to play some games on Sunday?

Cheryl on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 6:59 PM

Brent on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:07 PM

Thanks!

2 mi (13:20.60), 10.5 mi(30:44.90), 2 mi(14:21.30) with 2:39:20 transition time.

Phil on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:21 PM

Brent, that picture of you running is pretty badass.

Speaking of bad ass, I just cornholed the fuck out of the people at O'shea's. They had their cornhole tournament tonight, and it was me and some female police officer from Omaha. She was trashed but I have a feeling she played some softball in the past. Or at least dated a softball player and field hockey player or two. We still won in double elimination 3-0 and won the last game 21-2.

So I'm in the championship round. Tonight I got a BBC t-shirt and 3 free beers.

Apparently two cock suckers normally show up and win, but they weren't there this week. They complain about the distance, the height of the boards, who gets to throw first - all kinds of bullshit. So I need someone who is real good to join me to put these fuckers in their place. Lord knows tonight was a fluke so I need some big guns. I generally can play even with someone (I'm really good at blocking), but I need a point scorer.

Bigworm on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:31 PM

Good job Brent, loved the pics.

Phil on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:37 PM

As to kickball, work has a team already. They had sign ups and shit while I was gone. That's why I'm forming my own kickball team. With hookers and blackjack.

http://www.break.com/index/dude-peg...th-frisbee.html

No baby yet, Abby went back to the doctor and her fluid level is lower than yesterday, but not low enough to warrant an emergecy to induce her today. They gave her the choice of checking in today or tomorrow, which Abby opted for tomorrow since her OB is on call this weekend. So we are going to check into the hospital tomorrow and God knows how long it will take to get her moving and to deliver AJ. They told her since she hasn't started to dialate then it could be Saturday or Sunday before AJ was born.

Green Baron on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 10:10 AM

And that Hedge player must have been a glitch in his system, because according to today's totals, he now did not lose 54 million. Oh well, it was cool to see someone's day change at 54 million dollars.

Green Baron on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:16 AM

Abby and I will be going to the hospital tonight to begin the process. Since Abby hasn't dilated, this could be a long labor process and it could take as long as Sunday before AJ is born. Abby and I will be at Norton Suburban Hospital, but I am not planning on staying the night.

adrian on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 4:18 PM

Bigworm on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 4:54 PM

Abby is checking in at 6 pm tonight, but no need to come up unless you want to bring me your Nintendo DS and Mario Kart with your charger. Seriously, nothing is going to happen tonight just checking in and starting the process.

Did anyone else see Lorenzen play last night? I thought he did alright. There was, however, a play where he scrambled, ran for the first down, ran out-of-bounds and stepped on teammate Brandon Jacobs' foot. Jacobs then had to be tended to by the team trainer.

Phil on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 8:50 AM

Brent on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 5:28 PM

I'm in, noticing some of the rules, can we make some changes:

1 point = 10 yards for RB and bonus at 100 yards
1 point = 25 yards QB (bonus at 300 instead of 350)
1 point = 15 yards WR Bonus at 100 yards
and nix the Return Yards altogether.

I'll be in Cincy this weekend, but I could certainly do the draft this weekend if that works better than Thursday.

Jay on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 9:20 AM

And another one

http://tv.ign.com/articles/813/813766p1.html

The update of the article describing which comic book character is a good match for which heroes character.

Jay on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 9:32 AM

And if you notice, the vast majority of the characters they reference are marvel, and most of those come from the pages of X-men. Because the X-men are awesome.

Brock on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 12:43 PM

My logic for rewarding longer field goals with extra points is that if a running back scampers 50 yards for a TD, he gets the 6 points plus the yardage. In a long pass play, the QB gets pass yards, TD points, the WR gets reception points, yardage points, and TD points. I think rewarding a kicker for hitting shots over 40 yards is reasonable, especially since I'm deducting points for missing close ones.

Anyone ever use the stationary rollers for a bike. That seems like a good winter investment. I can ride my bike and never leave the front of my TV. AWESOME!

Brent on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 5:18 PM

IMO, you might want to try a trainer before you try rollers.

Phil on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 5:20 PM

I was going to buy a trainer for my bike. I was thinking about this one:
http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?...20and%20Rollers

I was going to get one now before winter hits because it looks like they are trying to dump stock during the summer. I assume once it gets cold the discounts become harder to find.

Brent, what's the difference between rollers?

Barry on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 5:29 PM

congrats on adrian jr. wes. I'll be looking for a baby sized man, legend shirt.

Brent on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 5:32 PM

A bike is stationary and locked in place in a trainer. With rollers, the bike is free to move and you control the bike through slight movements in your hips, much harder.

Here is a picture of rollers:

http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?...20and%20Rollers

Has anyone looked into getting a cabin somewhere in the near future? If not I'm interested in camping out either Labor Day weekend or the last week of September. Joe and I would like to go somewhere with decent MTB trails. We were thinking somewhere more south to possibly accomodate Brock better. Of course, if we tried to throw it together Labor day it may be a little rougher than if we tried to plan it later.

Brock on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 9:56 PM

The Trinity HS reunion is that Friday, a week from Friday. I do plan to attend that event.

I've been discussing with Michelle about the cabin trip and she is going to ask around if others are interested, particularly from Cincy.

I'd be up for a weekend trip to Land Between the Lakes anytime there isn't a big football game going on b/c its about an hour from Nashville and has great MTB trails.

I think a cabin trip would be good in the Gatlinburg area in October or November sometime b/c it would be a little cooler.

from barstoolsports.com It wouldn't link but it mentions dry humping and "Just start finger-blasting. It's like an automatic $150K to your condo's assessed value." Below is the story.

I arrived home this evening to find a young couple groping the shit out of each other at the end of my street. They were young, in love and couldn't wait to stick digits into each other's nether regions. True love. It's heartwarming to see up close and personal when two drunken morons that don't have the common sense to jump in a cab back to LA start dry-humping 100 yards from your front door.

I have no problem with drunken dbags finger-blasting their girlfriends on my front porch. In fact, I fucking encourage it. Finger-blasting increases property values. That's a fact. People in Somerville want the Green Line to up their property values. Screw that. Just start finger-blasting. It's like an automatic $150K to your condo's assessed value.

But I digress. When I see two people doing outrageous things to each other in public, I believe that it's within my rights to:

stop dead in my tracks and stare offer up words of encouragement
Those two rights are guarantees. Wars have been fought to ensure that dudes get to watch some random chick get finger-blasted. Opium War- about opium kinda but really it was all about finger-blasting hot Chinese chicks.

So, here's the question- I say that if you decide to finger-blast on my street then I have some sort of sacred right, sorta like prima nocte, in which I get to swoop in, push you aside and, at a minimum, drop a shocker on the girl. Again, this isn't a gross Barstool Sports thing. I am 90% sure that this is guaranteed in the Constitution.

On that note, best finger-bangs on film:

While Carrolton may have Chiken Littles, Scott said he was riding some of the Ski Butler hill on his lowest gear while standing up.

Jay on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 8:12 PM

Good looking out on the Star Wars/NFL thing, Phil. That helps a lot. And not that it matters, but Tuesday at 5 doesn't really work for me. What about tuesday at 11 pm or something. I'm sure most of us are up that late.

Phil on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 8:17 PM

I wanted to at least check out the England Idlewild myself. I think the teeter totter is for people like Wes and myself who consider it a minor victory to stay on the damn bike. The reviews seem to indicate that the park does a good job of upkeep.

Plus, on the way back we can stop for chicken littles!

And I'm down for some 11pm fantasy drafting

joe on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 8:24 PM

I feel really fat and lazy - and I'm sort of fine with that. Bring on the bell ringers.

Jerome on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 8:36 AM

Let's go GAY!

I'll be really disappointed if the Steelers don't keep William Gay on the roster. Granted, I haven't seen a single practice or attended their camp, but he has had a pick in each of the first three preseason games and forced a fumble last night. The unfortunate thing is that it looks like he keeps doing it from the third team. Today's the first cut-down day. I am all about the Gay.

Bigworm on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 9:32 AM

Happy Birthday to J. August Richards, 34.

Everyone is working on the Fantasy Football draft picks.

Jay on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 12:23 PM

Oh, and for the record, Heroes comes out today on DVD. AWESOME!

douglas on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 12:27 PM

yeah, i can't make the draft, it's not near enough time for me to get home

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 1:40 PM

I injected mice with 20 mL of saline into their guts this morning and then sucked all of it out a bunch of times. Make them real fat, then skinny, then fat... then I killed them.

I'm starting to enjoy this torture I do too much.

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 1:41 PM

Blame Phil, he couldn't be late for Trivia. It'll be 4PM here when it happens, so I'll have to be subtle at work.

Jay on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:58 PM

Yeah, I'm driving into Louisville right after work, so I can't do it either. Douglas, you and I will be competing for the team most screwed by the autodraft.

Jay on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:59 PM

I just got the official invitation to Amber's toga party. You're pretty much all invited. It is saturday, September 29th at 7 pm. If you want to come, let me know.

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 3:11 PM

Is there still a stagger on the 21st?

Phil on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 3:45 PM

Football got pushed back a week, so I'm free tomorrow if you guys are still riding.

Jay on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 3:55 PM

No, Amber decided to move to the end of November so that Lindsay could come.

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:17 PM

Less than an hour before Natty Sci Fake Football '07 finally begins!

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:18 PM

I still plan to ride after work tomorrow, I also hope to be home in time for the draft. I am generally walking in the house at about 5 to 10 after 5 so I should be there.

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:32 PM

Brent drafts first, that SOB.

Brent on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:51 PM

Sweeeeet!

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:56 PM

I wonder if the Baron is drafting, because he goes second... the streak of last to draft finally ends.

Brent on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 4:57 PM

Everybody can kiss Drew Brees goodbye!

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 5:05 PM

You know... Mike Vick is a quality pick in my opinion... you should steal that early.

douglas on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 5:23 PM

is the draft going on? i can't get on at work, it's not logging onto the server

Phil on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 5:23 PM

right now here's your team:
Manning
Jones-Drew
Edgerrin James
Clinton Portis

douglas on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 5:23 PM

solid, if i get vick i'm suing yahoo

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 6:25 PM

I'm gonna win the league with the last pick bitches

Phil on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 6:27 PM

I have a lot of rookies on my team. I need to stop watching the 4th quarter of all these preseason games.

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 6:28 PM

hurry up and get to trivia

Phil on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 6:28 PM

i'm leaving right now. Talk about perfect timing for me!

Green Baron on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 7:31 PM

Looks like I'm sitting this year out in fantasy football.
Changing the draft time within 24 hours til the draft. Just not cool.
You know, not all of us are checking this site, or the internet for that matter, every 2 hours.
I appreciate that, I really do. Thanks for fucking me.

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 8:42 PM

we never liked you anyways douchebag

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 8:46 PM

Tomorrow what time we riding, 6:00, 6:30? Bike ride at England Idlewild and chicken littles probably bumped to Saturday. Anyone up for the ride tomorrow and/or Saturday then go get drunk after riding Saturday?

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:22 PM

You shouldn't complain... your team is pretty loaded.

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:28 PM

says the guy who thought dallas clark was a good pick

Brock on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:34 PM

I don't even like Dallas Clark, but when he racks up points, I'll be sure to remind you of your baboonery trash talk. Much like every year, when you choke on your trash talk.

Bigworm on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:40 PM

As soon as I get off work, make it home and grab my shit I'll be back out the door. I am trying to leave right at 5pm tomorrow, so around 6:30ish me.

joe on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:45 PM

I'll take my chances on "but when he (Dallas Clark) racks up points". The odds a girl doesn't leave my room crying are better then Dallas Clark racking up points. Chris drinking and not puking are more likely. Jay getting laid, phil not hitting on a waitress. Is there a better way to make this point?

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:01 AM

brock, can you move all of the baron's players back onto his team? if he wants to throw a hissy fit then just take it over and run it for him.

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:09 AM

Did anyone see the bellarmine mascot?

WTF

Brent on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 7:39 AM

Nice post Phil, John 21:3...that's comedy.

Jerome on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 8:47 AM

Big Jay - look at the Bellarmine mascot. The designer for that costume must be a Marvel Comics geek. I'm thinking either Rhino from Spider-Man or Juggernaut.

Jay on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 9:13 AM

Yeah, I definitely see the Rhino. Juggernaut is too much of a badass to look like that, though.

douglas on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 9:39 AM

that was possibly the best damn auto draft i've ever seen

Bigworm on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:17 AM

fuck it, if you can take control of his team give it to me.

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:22 AM

I live my life by John 21:3

douglas on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:16 AM

i tried to pick up brandon jacobs before i realized what baron did, are we all going to come to an agreement to leave his players alone and put them back on his team, or is it free for all? I'm all for full disclosure, and I'm not trying to screw anyone b/c i got to them first, i don't want people complaining at the end of the season that i beat their ass unfairly

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:21 AM

well, they are on the waiver wire so his players would be dooled out in order of the waiver priority. So I assume it'd look like this:

Joe would get Brandon Jacobs
I'd get Lee Evans (fuck Roy Williams)
Douglas would pick up Roy Williams
Brock would be there for Jones or Coles
etc

Clearly Joe, Douglas and I would be coming out smelling like roses.

Then there's the problem of an empty ship. Brock should have the ability to edit rosters so I'm in favor of him redoing the roster and cock punching the baron

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:22 AM

But if Brock isn't going to do the edit and it will be a free for all, I'm picking adding these fuckers just in case

Bigworm on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:04 PM

I think you guys should settle out the roster in true Natty Sci fashion. Break a deal, spin the wheel!

Brock on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:15 PM

Sorry fellas, busy day. I can just reinstall his roster and block his access I believe. I don't know if I can transfer ownership (to Wes, for example) though. I think just returning his base team and possibly having 1 player dropped onto the waiver wire each week might be a possibility.

I'm fully open to options here. I just don't have the time to make the decision, so come to a consensus and I can facilitate later.

douglas on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:35 PM

how about cage fights for his players, MMA style?

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:45 PM

my vote would be to reinstall the team and just let it run its course. Brock could just readjust the lineup to the best projected player and each position each week. If someone gets hurt or benched, then just take the highest ranked player in free agency over the past month to replace them.

His team is good enough to compete each week so that way we'd at least avoid the prospect of the "bye" week win.

Jay on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:49 PM

I second the cock punch motion, and I think we should probably just let it play. Of course if I lose this season, I'm going to be pissed...

Not really.

Brent on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 12:56 PM

I agree with reinstating the team, its too unfair to let those players go for a free for all. I can't believe he's acting like such a baby over not getting to pick his players...Brock, did you charge him to get into the league? Jesus titty fucking christ, its a free league, so you didnt get to pick your team, get over it.

Jerome on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:23 PM

i had to miss the draft too when time was moved from 7:30 to 5:15, and I didn't bitch about it. I actually have a pretty decent team considering i didn't pick them, but still, i didn't take my ball and go home

Jerome on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:26 PM

http://www.thegameoftheyear.net/

douglas on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:27 PM

i second phil's vote by the way, i don't like the idea of having a team that doesn't do anything, it could sway playoff seeds at the end of the season. i like it to be competitive, it's much more fun that way

Jay on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:36 PM

I'm with you, Douglas. I couldn't pick my team either. The thing about natty sci, though, is that we're not a bunch of bitches.

Jerome on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:39 PM

Brock, I think you need to talk to the Baron and see if he'll just nut up and play. He might be acting like a complete knob gobbler, he's a pretty good fantasy coach. Besides, it's always fun having someone be the guy that complains about how the commissioner changes rules toward the end of the season to win and then proclaims himself the true winner of the league.

Jerome on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:41 PM

errr ... "He might be acting like a complete knob gobbler, BUT he's a pretty good fantasy coach."

Bigworm on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM

Brock on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 2:38 PM

The legend of the Baron was WAY hardcore....

Alright, I'll get the team put back together sometime this week. So for all of those who vultured players on the waiver wire (including myself), go ahead and drop the request... I'll be doing it anyway, but it'll be a little less painful.

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 4:16 PM

my waivers are clear

joe on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 5:10 PM

we riding?

Green Baron on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 7:59 PM

Yah, so I was piss drunk last night.
That's not to say that what happened was right. Personally, if it would have been handled differently, it wouldn't have been a problem. To move the draft time up 1 day ahead of the draft was a really low blow. I had set my day around that draft, and for nothing. Nothing I say will make you own up to that.
Anyway, there's no solving it. But I don't really care to play with an autodrafted team. It wouldn't be me kicking your ass, would it? Feel free to reinstate my team; but without me drafting it, I, nor you, can really talk trash. Unless you want to talk trash to Yahoo's rankings. So I don't really care to play like that.
Sorry about dropping my team.

Brent on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 9:21 PM

Fair enough, but if you kicked everybody's ass with an autodrafted team, then think how much trash you could talk.

Bigworm on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:21 PM

Or think about how much trash you couldn't talk.

Brock on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:30 PM

But I think the point would be... the only thing gained is "trash talk," which I'm sure won't even buy you a cheeseburger, maybe a beer, but not a Whopper. Thus, getting "screwed" in a "trash talk" league means about as much as losing the lottery you didn't play.

The only reason the draft time was changed so late was because I was driving 5 hours back and forth from Cincinnati last weekend. The time had been made consensus over the weekend. If changing the draft time was done egregiously, then I'd say it was a dick move, but the reason it was moved was so more people could participate.

To sum up... the Steelers suck.

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:51 PM

I look at it much like Hoban before tests in high school. You pull the whole "I forgot to study angle" prior to the test you can't lose. Either you pass because you are simply a genius, and if you fail it is because the odds were stacked against you.

Hell, I'll drop 95% of my team by the end of the year anyways. Speaking of which, I don't think anyone drafted Eric Shelton...

Brock on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:34 PM

What happened to Micheal Bush?

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:42 PM

Good point. Bush and Gates have just as much of a chance as making a team. I'd probably be better off picking up Kolby Smith who seems to be a safe bet of making it with the Chiefs.

Phil on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:59 PM

What I don't understand is why Baron seems pissed at all of us. Brock is the one who set up the draft. I'm not trying to throw Brock under the bus, but like I said, I couldn't participate in the draft either. I mean, come on. For christ's sake, it's a fantasy football league.

Green Baron on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 10:49 AM

Well, first off, when someone approaches you with a concern, it's probably not the best way to go about it by saying, "Yah, well it's not a big deal, so just fucking forget it?"
Second, yah, it's a fantasy league. It means very little. That 'very little', is the ability to draft and control your team. Otherwise, it's like playing someone in chess and letting the computer make your moves. It's fucking pointless. So, yah, it MEANT very little, now it means dick.
And like I said, it wouldn't have been an issue at all if you had:
A - moved it back instead of forward.
B- actually sent a notification e-mail to the league.
C - all of the above.

joe on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 11:49 AM

I would have your back if money was involved, but it isn't. Just man up and play. I know I will rag on you more for taking your ball and going home then when you play and I beat you. Hey, if you lose blame it on the computer and if you win, you win. Grow a pair, show some testicular fortitude and quit crying.

Jay on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 12:18 PM

hey brock, you might want to look at readjusting the baron's roster. I believe tonight the waiver players will go to whoever still has them in their queue.

Dave on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 7:15 PM

I'm not attending the reunion, and I didn't go to the 5 year reunion either. Which from what I heard was more of a, "Hey look at me, I can drink legally now, and I'm still a jackass" event. On another note, I have never heard so much whinning about a free fantasy football team. I have never played before, but if you want me to take it over, I'll try my best. You all can do whatever you want. I am on Brock's side on this one, cause he did the best to include the most people. Its a fucking game, and last time I checked Brock wasn't handing out trophies at the end of the year.

Church on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 7:59 PM

Bigworm on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 9:38 PM

LSU is looking like ass, well there offense is...defense is still tough.

Bigworm on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 9:38 PM

shit their offense.

Brock on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:10 AM

As I posted about 3 times before. I will be going to the reunion and the game. They are also throwing a gig at Saints after the game, which I'll probably attend too.

As far as the draft goes.... blame Phil and Brent... the concern was missing Trivia on Tuesday, so I moved it up (passing the buck on chucking people under the bus). The only request made on the actual Yahoo page was make it after 5pm. The Baron requested a specific time in the middle of the night on some random day as a joke. Otherwise, I addressed the biggest squeaky wheel at the time (Trivia conflict and Chris' day off). As far as the new squeaky wheel goes.... well... I can't go back in time and redo the draft.... well... I could. We could just say fuck this league and delete it, make a new one, set a new draft time and do it all over again. If everyone wants to do that, I'll do it. Problem solved. I have a sneaky suspicion that the consensus will be against it, but if the wheel is squeaky, I'll address it.. and thats my best resolution.

I'll get to fixing the rosters soon, maybe Saturday... don't worry about waivers... I can change those. This is all given we don't scrap what we have now.

Brock on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:11 AM

As far as sending an email... Yahoo automatically generates emails to notify you of a draft, and I got one notifying me of both the 7:30 and 5:15 drafts, so I can't explain that.

Jay on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 7:13 AM

It doesn't matter to me, either way.

Jerome on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 9:24 AM

Barry on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 9:53 AM

overall feeling from last night's performance...much like a blonde in Joe's bedroom, a bit underwhelmed. the offensive line looked pretty bad for most of the first half. Second half was another story and the young guys look good. Two 5 star true freshman played last night: Terrance Toliver (80-wr) with 1 nice catch and run; Chad Jones (3-fs) and he only made 1 play that I saw, but it was impressive. Ran down a reciever from midfield. I love Jacob Hester, but I don't know why he's the starting tailback. Did we look good overall? yes. did we look like the #2 team in the country overall? maybe not.

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:18 AM

Delete the league, and add me as a team.

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:19 AM

I can't believe how bad MSU's QB is, knowing, Croom needs to get some wins this year.

joe on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:40 AM

If you delete the league scroggin wants in

douglas on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:41 AM

yeah, scroggin bitched at me the other night too

Green Baron on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:55 AM

Deleting the league would be useless at this point, I fly out Monday, and you'll never get a league and draft time by then.
Unless of course, you want to get rid of me. I can make that easy though, whoever wants to take over my team, just send me your yahoo ID, or e-mail address, not sure which; I can add you as co-manager of the team and you can run the team.
I am set up to receive all events to my e-mail. I never got any notification of Tuesday's draft time.
The problem with the web is that you can't hear the inflections or tones of the discussion. I don't mean to be whining. I am simply stating that I find the fantasy football to be useless if Yahoo chooses the team. It's like playing Bingo. Oh boy, I'm the lucky one and I won.
As I mentioned very early on, I didn't really care if I made the draft. But the time was arranged and agreed upon; and at the last minute was changed. Moved up of all things, and I got no warning. I find that to be inconsiderate. At one moment, I could make the draft, I could control my team, and I might actually have a fantasy football season to look forward to. Next moment, I'm sitting with pre-chosen players and the luck of the draw. Inconsiderate if you ask me. It's not really about the fantasy league. You all could have said, "Well, don't let Isaac play". That's fine. I'll sit out. It's your league. And it probably hurts that I've kicked your asses 2 of the last 3 years. I was really looking forward to making it 3 of 4.

Wrecking Crew on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:14 AM

Jesus fucking Christ people, it's a goddamn fantasy football league. Who the fuck cares? There is no money involved. Baron if you want in the league, I think we should delete the fucking league, redraft, and let the others in who should have signed up sooner. Baron pre-rank your fucking team and take what yahoo gives you if you can't make the draft. Everyone should have done that if there was any question whether or not they would have made the draft. Sure this may fuck things up for people who liked their draft, but it's fantasy fucking football without money involved. People have to make concessions when we've got this many people to try to get together. It's not inconsiderate because everybody had the same opportunity to find out about the draft. There was no intention to screw you. Get over it.

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:53 AM

I'm just saying, if you fags are going to cock punch each other and delete the league then let me sign up for round 2. Nobody loves a good cock punch more than I do.

Wrecking Crew on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 12:02 PM

I'm all for re-drafting. At least with more teams scores won't be ridiculous, and we may have to pay attention to some players who aren't quite as overpaid as the rest of the league.

Wes, can you to sneak out of the house one night this weekend?

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 12:30 PM

Possibly, why do you ask?

Jay on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:19 PM

Screw it, redraft the league.

Phil on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:47 PM

My current vote is:

1) Move everything back to the way it was pre-meltdown. 2) Baron makes Wes / Scroggins co-owner. 3) Go on with life.

Green Baron on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:53 PM

I vote with Phil.

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 3:04 PM

What is his team's name?

Went to Quizno's today for lunch and say Ellis Myles and Darrell Griffith. Dr. Dunkenstein still is physically fit.

Phil on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 3:09 PM

The Baron's team is now known as "The Chosen Ones"

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 3:12 PM

That is pretty funny actually.

Rob Zombie's Halloween looks pretty awesome.

Marc on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 3:41 PM

If you stupid fuckers do you're redraft of your teams, then how about everyone post which days AND the times of those days that are good for you. Then Brock can accommodate the most people with the draft. (Before only a few gave him specific days or times, others just said "not Monday" "not Tuesday." The after-11PM draft idea sounded good to me, a non-player, since most of you would not be working and would be at home anyway.) In case you can't make the draft, then pre-rank your selections as you see them now. This way with limited time to draft your teams you actually allow yourself the largest potential of successfully drafting your best team, while being fair to the large number of people playing. (It's not fucking rocket science)

IF YOU RE-DRAFT THE LEAGUE

- Pre-rank your selections in case you are not able to make the draft time.

- Give days and times that work for you for the next week. (If you have something in your schedule that you ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT MISS, then post that so it can be taken into consideration. If it is something that is "not as" vital (including trivia, which is more vital to me since I play it and could give a crap about your silly fantasy football league) then consider the potential of having to choose between missing your event or missing the draft.

Now let's get this settled and get back to what nattysci.com is all about. (Fark posts, bar stories, the new of love of everything Cycling, and calling each other gay.)

Bigworm on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 3:49 PM

Marc, maybe when you've been the commissioner of a league, then you can smack talk.

joe on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 4:07 PM

I've already been banned from commissionering since the baseball scandal of 2006. Those were some ugly days. I think we might have a sequel to "field of dreams."

Brent on Saturday, September 01, 2007 at 6:32 PM

Nicely done Joe, how was the course: flat or hilly?

Brock on Saturday, September 01, 2007 at 7:30 PM

My parents got the Big Ten Network and they have Insight cable too. Needless to say, that was one hell of a game to watch. The coach for App State tried to lose the game multiple times (my guess is Michigan boosters offered a couple million). Kicking the go-ahead field goal on 1st down with 30 seconds to go while Michigan still had 1 timeout. Why not do a QB sneak or just have the center keep it to move the ball to the center of the field?
This accomplishes:
1) Run more time off
2) Michigan must use another timeout
3) Better angle to kick

THEN....

On the kickoff... instead of squibbing it to run more time and prevent a potential return, they kick it normal and short.... giving Michigan good field position to only make 1 good pass of a shot at a game-winning field goal.

The only reason App State won is because those players pulled it off... that coach made every move to choke it for them. Kudos to the special teams...

MICHIGAN SUCKS!

Anything going on today?

Barry on Sunday, September 02, 2007 at 2:01 PM

for those who have never experienced the insanity of alabama fans first hand, here is a post a friend of mine sent via myspace regarding this weekend.

"Well boys and girls, the Nick Saban Era is underway and he did not disappoint in his team's debut. ROLL TIDE!! 52-6 is definitely a score any Tide fan can appreciate even though it was against a pathetic opponent.

But it was the rest of the SEC that I was pleasantly surprised with...

1) The "other" team in the state should have lost their opener against the Cats of Kansas State. KSU played their way out of the game and could not put it away. They had 7, I repeat SEVEN penalties that give the tigers first downs. They should of lost but oh well, it is only a matter of time, let's say a week because they will get beat AT HOME against the South Florida Bulls.

2) The vols were looking for a lot of the same in Berkley like they had last year but could not pull off the win. Although they played well on offense, the UT defense looked pretty bad to say the least. The 3rd Saturday in October just got a little more interesting.

3) A bunch of other west and east teams of the SEC like Arkansas, Florida, Vandy, etc. started off really slow and sloppy but were able to get online and put the other team away. Really the only top ranked SEC team that dominated this week was LSU against Miss State.

I am now loving Alabama's chances at a shot for the west title now. The only west opponent that I think we can/could lose to now is LSU.

Anywho, it was a great opening weekend of college football even capped off with the Michigan Squirrels getting ripped in the Big House. Ha, that was great!

I love college football!!!"

Phil on Sunday, September 02, 2007 at 2:12 PM

I'm reading Clay Travis's book, Dixieland Delight. Clay's the dude on CBS Sportsline that usually has some funny articles. Basically he traveled through the SEC attending a home game at each stadium last year. It's worth it alone just for the random digs at Jefferson Pilot Sports and frat boys in Alabama that all sport what he calls "'Bama Bangs."

It's no Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer, but it is still a good read.

Bigworm on Sunday, September 02, 2007 at 2:25 PM

Any word on the guy for UT that left the game on the stretcher? He couldn't move his legs when they took him off.

joe on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 9:52 AM

Not worth the trip. Very flat and not many obstacles. It had lots of trail though. Flat courses take to much effort continuously. I like to climb and then coast my way through. If it was in Louisville it would have been ok, but not that good. They had an obstacle course a little bit bigger then my backyard with some log climbs, 2 teeter totters and a jump that I am going to duplicate in my yard. The obstacle course was awesome.

Bigworm on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 10:20 AM

I personally think the new trail by the fountain at Seneca park is pretty good. Lots of fun downhill riding there.

Phil on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 11:08 AM

My flag football league starts this Wednesday. As I haven't played in months, I was hoping that I could just hide at the slot receiver and rushing the QB and wait for everything to come back to me.

Well, our QB's wife is due at anytime and I might have to play QB. It's the return of Footsteps Philco, only 25lbs heavier and 10x slower.

Jay on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 11:11 AM

Phil on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 1:47 PM

Bigworm on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 2:09 PM

joe on Tuesday, September 04, 2007 at 2:23 PM

I plan to ride this week. Phil has football on Wednesday, Chris and I are playing softball on Thursday I think and Friday Chris is on call. Ummm, pick a day.

Those other guys are still up at the park every Sunday playing football by the tennis courts. I'm down for football if we can get 10 or more people. We lost the best QB ever in B-mac.

Phil on Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at 1:14 PM

By the way, I'm in a pay league with Brent. They do it on CBS Sportsline. It's pretty nice. I think a pay league with a live draft may be in order next year. I talked with Greg at O'Shea's about them having some place setup so people can easily do their live fantasy drafts there so it could be pretty doable to get O'shea's rented out for a couple hours on a Sunday.

Jay on Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Phil, why would anyone pay to play fantasy football?

Brock on Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at 1:45 PM

Actually... the question is why would you play fantasy football if there WASN'T money on the line?

The game is driven by money, not by egos.

We're the oddballs.

Phil on Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at 1:52 PM

Well, the way it works for a pay league is this. Everyone pitches in something like $50. The money goes towards the fantasy company that provides a draft board and the website. You get live scoring and the such for everyone.

Then the rest of the money goes to dishing out money to the winner. Money to the highest scorer each week, and then money to the winners at the end of the week.

This keeps people from doing the Great Drop of 07, and also encourages people to keep trying each week no matter how bad they are doing because they could get the weekly high point score.

Cincy defense awesome? Did i read that correct?

Brock on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 8:34 PM

Holding the leading rusher from the Pac-10 to less that 5 yards for the half is pretty impressive.

Brock on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 9:21 PM

I think Louisville's problem is that Bill Curry is calling the game and he's obviously favoring UofL, so thats a jinx for sure.

joe on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 9:23 PM

Louisville sucks, is it basketball season yet?

Saturday, I will be home from work around noon if anybody is planning on riding. I plan to be drinking at 6 for the notre dame game. All are welcome.

If you plan to come over beware of the beast in my yard. I think I figured out what was killing things in my back yard. The other day I was attacked by a hawk in my garage. I then managed to find a dead possum in my garage. I think the hawk is out to get me.

Louisville fumbled dumb fuckers.

joe on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 9:23 PM

did you see TJ Housmanzadeh announcing the starters for OSU at the start of the game?

Brock on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 9:36 PM

Yup, and Chad Johnson saying he was rooting for OSU, but apparently he has been working out with UC's defensive backs... that can't hurt.

Brock on Thursday, September 06, 2007 at 9:39 PM

Bigworm on Friday, September 07, 2007 at 9:20 AM

UC did indeed fuck the Beavers and I am not talking gently either.

I would say the Big East doesn't play defense but UC took OSU to the woodshed last night.

Best hit of collegiate season thus far is the Middle Tennessee State player laying out whatever UofL wideout at the 1 foot line last night. That was one heck of a hit for sure and he managed to keep him out of the endzone.

USF and Auburn could be an ugly game because you have Big East high powered offense with little defense against an Auburn team that has zero offense and a stellar defense. You have each other's strenghts battling it out and I suspect iIf Auburn scores it will be because the defense scores.

Angel's rock bar person...this is kind of gay. The band is a hand picked band by a producer. I thought they only did that for boy bands and the spice girls.

Shawn Michael wants to do more than spin the music he loves to hear.

As the lead vocalist for The Night Before, he and his band mates already are finding success.

Lead guitarist Micah Gerdis, who also plays for the Muckrakers, bass player Joe Stephens, drummer Mike Karaglanis, who used to play for the Velcro Pygmies, and Shawn Michael are "fantastic," said Hugo Ferreira of Tantric, a nationally known band that started in Kentucky.

Ferreira, who owns a home in Louisville, has been working with The Night Before and said, "I don't see them going anywhere but up."

In fact, "Red Reign," a single the fellas recorded at the behest of Karaglanis' brother Frank, has become an unofficial theme song -- according to fans -- for the University of Louisville football team.

"We made this song … on a whim," Shawn Michael said. "Fans have made it an anthem."

anyone know how UK is doing?

Bigworm on Saturday, September 08, 2007 at 7:40 PM

14-14 at the half.

UK's offense is looking pretty bad right now. UK has had several drop balls by Lyon's and Burton. I expect them to finally get it together and win by 14 or 21.

douglas on Saturday, September 08, 2007 at 7:48 PM

Brock on Saturday, September 08, 2007 at 8:21 PM

douglas on Saturday, September 08, 2007 at 8:45 PM

UK's killing it since halftime, 38-14 still in the 3rd quarter

Bigworm on Saturday, September 08, 2007 at 8:45 PM

I was going to take Austin over to Joe's house, but I kind of forgot that his immune system isn't that effective right now so I decided to stay home with him instead.

UK is up 34-14, I think they were just looking at different offensive sets in the 2nd quarter because they didn't score in that quarter. UK gave up a lot of rushing yards to Kent State in the first half, and Kent St. has the dual threat QB, which UK struggles with severely. UK is shutting down the run in the second half and moving to more of a power run type offense to set up the deep ball.

LSU hasn't allowed a point in 10 quarters.

Bigworm on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 12:49 AM

Auburn deserves to lose that games. I don't think there is a more overrated team than Auburn.

1) Why did Tubberville let the clock run out with 45 seconds left to play in regulation with 2 timeouts mind you when all you needed to do was make it to the 35 yard line to give your kicker a chance at a 50 yard field goal. Especially when he just nailed a 49 yarder?

2) Auburn's offense is terrible. I think Philco could lead that team better than Brandon Cox, God knows Bmac would do better with that offense.

Brock on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 12:51 AM

South Florida knocks off Auburn in OT!

Big East is 14-2, stupid Syracuse.

Brock on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 12:52 AM

You can blame Auburn, but South Florida looked pretty tough. Giant wide receivers and pounding backs wore down that Auburn defense.

Bigworm on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 1:26 AM

Oh I am not blaming Auburn for shit, their team is what it is and USF took it to them. Wouldn't even have been a game if USF could kick a fucking field goal.

I just can't believe Tubberville's decision to let the clock run out and go into OT without atleast trying to go for the win.

Cox is a terrible QB. Makes me wonder though because UK and typically UofL doesn't get the kind of players the powerhouse football program get (UofL is upgrading their talent though), however, UK and UofL can atleast run a freaking offense.

Brock on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 1:58 AM

I think this season is demonstrating an increasing amount of talent in the country which leads to the leveling of the playing field, so powerhouses don't have such a stranglehold on victories.

The last 5 years with teams like Utah and Boise State making the BCS add to the distribution of recruiting talent. Teams like Ohio State, Florida, and Texas can't recruit 3 top running backs in one or two seasons and convince them to sit the bench for 2 years waiting for playing time. The players are saying screw you and going to other programs where they'll start right away, thus spreading out the talent. The only exception is USC... but that'll probably change as more teams out west begin to win.

Bigworm on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 8:33 AM

Well the advantage for USC is they are able to pay top dollar for players without leaving much money trail to follow.

Phil, did you check Patrick's article on the webpage, pretty funny.

I started thinking, seeing how we all (or most of us) drop $10 on the bullshit Yahoo stat tracker, we would be better off paying for our league with CBSsportsline, even if we only did chip in $10 b/c its so much better than yahoo.

Brock on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 5:08 PM

CBSsportsline is better? I have never used it b/c of its pay status, but I don't know what could be much better than what we use. I honestly can't think of what other options we would need for a fantasy league.

Granted, I've only used free services for fantasy football, so I have no idea what wonders are out there. I kinda feel like the guy with a horse that never thought a car was worth having b/c both got the job done.

Phil on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 5:45 PM

CBS Sportsline has the advantage of being able to post stories and shit like that. It really gives your league a more personal touch. The problem is the research tools suck big hairy balls.

Brock on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 10:32 PM

Here's an interesting assessment of the college BCS conferences by one of Cincy's reporters

http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blog...re-in.asp#links

It’s premature to say that the Big East is the equal of any conference this year in college football, or even in the top four or five. It does, however, appear to be building on the momentum it established last year, when it had three teams (West Virginia, Louisville and Rutgers) in the top 10 at various times and, at 5-0, was the only league to go undefeated in bowl games.

Since then, the conference has lost only two games, both by Syracuse. Most of the victories have come against unimpressive opponents; but not South Florida’s at Auburn; not Cincinnati’s thrashing of Oregon State.

For what it’s worth, the Big East’s 14-2 non-conference record is the best going at the moment. The resumes of the six BCS leagues look like this:

Big East

Out of conference record: 14-2

Best wins: South Florida at Auburn; Cincinnati, big, over Oregon State

Worst losses: Syracuse to Washington and Iowa

Also: Rutgers beat Navy; UConn won at Duke

SEC

Out of conference record: 14-4

Best wins: LSU, big, over Virginia Tech; Georgia over Oklahoma State

Worst loss: Auburn, at home, to South Florida

Also: Tennessee lost at Cal; Auburn beat Kansas State

Big Ten

Out of conference record: 18-4

Best wins: Penn State, big, over Notre Dame; Wisconsin over Washington State

Worst losses: Michigan to Appalachian State; Michigan, big, to Oregon; Minnesota to Bowling Green

Also: Minnesota beat Miami (Oh) in overtime; Ohio State led Akron 3-2 at halftime

Pac-10

Out of conference record: 13-3

Best wins: Cal over Tennessee; Oregon, big, at Michigan

Worst loss: Oregon State, big, at Cincinnati

Also: Washington beat Boise State; Washington State lost at Wisconsin; Arizona State beat Colorado; Arizona lost at BYU

Big 12

Out of conference record: 18-6

Best wins: Oklahoma, big, over Miami (Fla.); Nebraska at Wake Forest; Texas over TCU

Worst losses: Iowa State, at home, to Kent State and Northern Iowa

Also: Missouri beat Illinois and Ole Miss; Oklahoma State lost at Georgia; Kansas State lost at Auburn; Baylor lost at TCU

ACC

Out of conference record: 9-7

Best win: Georgia Tech, big, at Notre Dame

Worst losses: North Carolina State to Central Florida; North Carolina to East Carolina; Virginia to Wyoming; Duke to UConn

Also: Wake Forest lost to Nebraska; Miami lost big to Oklahoma; Virginia Tech lost big to LSU

The snapshot, admittedly, is taken early. But the Big East is in it. Prominently.

I really find this outrageous and distasteful. This new movie at the Toronto Film Festival depicts lude images of 13-yr. old girls being sexually abused, raped, and sodomized. It disgusts me how these filmmakes can show these types of scenes in movies and then write it off as "art." It blows my mind how people can stand to watch a movie with such filth littered through out its content, and there aren't more people revolting at the premiere for this wretched piece of crap.

(And on a side note, I can't wait to see it, with popcorn, lotion, and a handrag in tow. Woo-hoo, kiddie porn!)

Fine then I'll tell a funny story.

I’m related to the deacon at the Cathedral. He runs this thing where they feed the homeless every so often. On holidays they grill out for the homeless. Well on Labor Day the new Archbishop of Louisville was working with him. He was rocking out in the street clothes dishing out green beans to the homeless people but he did have on his Archbishop cross around his neck. This one homeless guy walks up to him and said hey man I got a question, where did you get that bling. He replied “The pope.” He then explained how he was the Archbishop and all that good stuff. The homeless guy responds, “I guess it would be sacrilegious if I offered to buy that off of you.” Homeless dudes rock.

Wrecking Crew on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2:51 PM

Holy fuck, I just looked at the fantasy football results, and god do I suck as a manager. I would have been better off only playing only Tony Romo and the Minnesota defense (both of which were on my bench, but scoring 74 points) than playing the line-up that I had in (72.5 points).

Jay on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 3:03 PM

Does anybody know how many ounces of beer are in a pony keg? My supervisor wants to know.

Bigworm on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 3:12 PM

992 US fluid ounces per google search engine.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...G=Google+Search

This is the rule of thumb at Liquor Barn when I worked there.

160 beers in a full keg, 80 beers in a pony keg, 80 x 12 (standard beer size) = 960 US fluid ounces.

douglas on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 3:14 PM

i guess the extra 32 ozs. is to account for drunk spillage

Good story, or at least I thought it was:

This morning I was walking down the hall at work and I was passing this woman I work with. She is a very sophisticated, former military person probably the highest military ranking person in our office. Basically she is the exact opposite of me. Every now and then she goes off and shows signs of a sense of humor like the story of her masturbating pet monkey throwing feces. But back to the original story, she passes me in the hall smiles at me and drops a "What up dawg?" I lost it and it made my day. I just had this high ranking sophisticated military official drop a what up dawg on me.

douglas on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 10:47 AM

that's funny, but I want to hear more about the masturbating poop-throwing monkey, i think that's the real story. animal masturbation is fascinating to me

One more time for anyone who is interested...I plan on doing some sort of trip the weekend of 9/22-9/?. Original plans were to get a cabin at a state park (LBL or Mammoth Cave) to go biking/drinking/etc. Plans may change since there has been so little show of interest. It looks like we could do a New Orleans trip (and fly this time) at a fairly reasonable price. 4 round trip flights/two rooms (French Quarter area) for anywhere from $250-350 and up. If interested in either of the 2, let me know soon becuase prices will go up fast.

Brent on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 4:24 PM

That puts your bike at a 16 mph pace, which you should do. BTW, I lied about the bike course to hopefully keep Phil in the race. The course is pretty hilly, I did it the other day and averaged a 20 mph pace and I felt like I was hauling ass.

Brock on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10:31 AM

I'm going up to Cincinnati to watch Trinity play St.X, who is apparently ranked #2 in the country. Trinity will probably get their asses kicked, but I wanna see if my waste-of-flesh brother will do the same thing to Cincy X's nose guard as he did with Bowling Green's nose guard by pancaking him, standing up over him and doing the D-X thing. Ok, he probably doesn't know that's what it is or trying to copy it, but thats what it looks like. All those years of slapping him in the back of the head are paying off.

I'm also going up to Oxford, OH to watch UC play Miami... its an early game, so I won't miss UofL-UK, but I figured I should at least watch a game with some defense before the jizz-fest of scoring in Lexington. UC has yet to allow a TD, so I hope they can keep the streak alive.

Crime Reports

KIDNAPPING

40220
Upper Highlands Swim Club, 2413 Parkdale Ave. An 18-year-old woman said someone walked in on her and another person having sex at the club about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 19. The intruder followed them to a storage shed, where their personal items were, and told them to finish what they had started. The suspect made comments to both victims and would not let them leave until they finished having sex.

douglas on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10:47 AM

of course I didn't let them leave, that bitch was hot. what it doesn't say is that the other person was another woman, i was wacking it the whole time.

but seriously, yeah, when i was a kid i went to that pool all the time with my cousin pat, he used to work there. that's funny

Brock on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10:58 AM

I just find it funny that the "victim" has to finish having consensual sex in a public place. Like its normal for people to be humping at a public pool.

Philco - what's the bad news rumor going around UofL basketball team? Something to do with an off court issue that will impact the team if true?

douglas on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:20 AM

oooh, interesting. i hope ricky p's wife is doing david padgett, that'd be swell. and i don't know if it's just me, as a UK fan, so maybe i'm only paying attention to certain things, but it seems like UK is getting a lot more press and attention heading into this game than UL is. On the front page of Sports today was a big picture of Woodson, and UK stories covered basically the entire page for example.

So what's the score gonna be? 117-109?

Bigworm on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:43 AM

I am going with 4-2, only points being scored is two safeties by one defense and one by the other. A defensive struggle it will be.

Jay on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 12:39 PM

Because UK and UofL are defense powerhouses. I also want to watch the train wreck that is Notre Dame vs. Michigan. Which of those teams will suck more?

Wrecking Crew on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM

Is it to early to call for a firing of Steve Kragthorpe? I know Petrino's defense sucked ass too, but this is getting fucking rediculous. Sure Brohm wasn't on his best and Urrutia can't catch a pass to save his fucking ass, but one fucking stop. Jesus Christ, how can you let someone get that wide-fucking-open when your only job is to not let him get by you. So Louisville's going to the BCS with a Big East championship, right? Wait, they're going to be lucky to finish in the top 4 in the league with as many points as WVU, Rutgers, and USF might put up. Fucking-a, is it basketball season yet?

Wrecking Crew on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 1:07 PM

That game just topped off a miserable sporting day for me too. Not that I was expecting much more, but a touchdown for the Irish might have been nice. Wang looked fair for the Yankees until Boston put their wang up his ass late in the game, and Detroit won to pull a game closer to the Yanks in the wild card race. It could be an ugly post-season if the Yankees let Detroit slip by them, UL doesn't play in a decent bowl game, and ND sure as hell won't make a bowl. Fuck it all.

Team Natty Sci racing came out in full force today and swept the awards stand. We kicked the 5k, 30k, 5k duathlon courses ass. Brent finished in 1 hour and 48 minutes and some change and finished 2nd in his age group, I finished in 1:49.08ish and finished 2nd in my age group and Mindy, an honorary member of team Natty Sci, was the 3rd overall female. All I can say is I hurt, my bike model came out when I was 2 and isn't as fast as the other riders and nothing is funnier then passing somebody in a race who has the full spandex racing gear taking it extremely serious and I am rocking Bellarmine baseball shorts, a cutoff sleeve t-shirt I got at a baseball tournament when I was 13 and a bandana. That's how I roll. I think Natty Sci racing might be the most successful Natty Sci endeavor besides drunken stupidity, vomiting and making girls cry.

Unfortunately, my brother probably won't be doing much snapping anymore. Apparently he broke his wrist in the Cincy St. X game, but played the entire game with it taped up. Les Miles (postgame interview) was asked about the fact that MTSU put up 500+ yds and 40+ points on Louisville last week, and were held to under 100 here....and he said "Well, don't buy too much into that Louisville ranking. I'll probably get in trouble for saying this, and I'm sure Louisville is talented, but if they were in our conference they'd be beat by 5 or 6 teams."

Les Miles really said this after LSU's game yesterday.

If anyone needs a lamp for a DLP television I'd go with dlplampsource.com

They use the actual lamp made by the television company and not something OEM rated. I have read some OEM lamp rated horror stories and decided to avoid this. Plus, by purchasing only the lamp and trading it out in the housing unit I am saving some money.

douglas on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10:56 AM

Les Miles is awesome.

adrian on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:28 AM

I highly doubt he said that.

Bigworm on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:31 AM

Les Miles is crazy enough about SEC football to say that.

Barry on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:32 AM

Haven't heard that one. He might have said it, but I doubt it, he's been toned down since the season began. He backed off his USC-Pac10 bashing and told the media not to overhype his team after the VT ass-kicking. Apparently Les Miles didn't play Doucet against Middle Tenn Either. That is funny.

It looks like who ever wins the Florida vs LSU game will be playing USC in the National Title unless West Virginia can somehow sneak in there.

douglas on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 12:47 PM

WV can't sneak in there over LSU / Florida, the only way that conceivably happens is if UK beats both of them, in which case UK goes BCS bowling, haha.

Brock on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1:00 PM

UK beats Florida and LSU, but loses to Vandy... I wouldn't be surprised.

Barry on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1:14 PM

meanwhile, back in Reality, 4 teams (USC, LSU, Oklahoma, and Florida) have stepped up and separated themselves from the competition. Should be an interesting year. The Sooners do not have anyone on their schedule that is ready to beat them (on paper at least); LSU and Florida should play each other twice (so long as LSU wins the second time); and USC is playing many of their most difficult games on the road.

Jay on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1:32 PM

Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but I just want to point out that the new TV season starts next week. That means just 7 more days until Heroes returns. Aooowooo! Back to football, when does Louisville play WV?

“They have a quality team, one that went to a bowl game last year,” Miles said. “I saw them improve from their first game to their second game. You can see that they have talent and they have some very good skill players.

“They scored 42 points against an eighth-ranked Louisville team. If we are not playing strong, quality defense, they can score. Their quarterback makes some really strong throws. We understand they are very capable. We are preparing for their best effort.”

The Oklahoma and Texas game will be huge.

LSU and Florida is huge as well.

The thing is what if Florida wins regular season and LSU wins the Conference Championship....SEC has a conference championship game and could play each other twice since they are in the East and West.

Bigworm on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1:53 PM

Thanks for the investigative work Barry.

Bigworm on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1:54 PM

If UK scores on LSU's defense that is a victory for UK. I just don't see it happening.

Barry on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2:58 PM

correction: the red river shootout looks like it won't be a game this year. texas has been incredibly underwhelming in close victories over central florida and arkansas state. Oklahoma meanwhile is beating teams worse than every guy in America when the Girls of the SEC issue comes out (eh?). you never know in rivalry games, but that series has had some blowouts lately.

Barry on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 3:08 PM

"The thing is what if Florida wins regular season and LSU wins the Conference Championship....SEC has a conference championship game and could play each other twice since they are in the East and West."

That's kinda what I'm hoping for cause I don't think we can beat the gators twice (though they are coming to our house), so I'd rather win the one that counts more. Problem is OU might be undefeated and SC won't lose more than 1 game. So here's hoping Nebraska and Texas get their shit together. And we want SC anyway (the FUSC stickers that were everywhere immediately following the split title have come back with a vengeance. My personal favorite was the sorority girl strategically placing one on her dress during the VT game).

Bigworm on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 3:58 PM

Texas played UCF without All-American Sneed. They showed toughness against TCU, but I do agree...McCoy needs to get his shit together and they will.

I heard some new details/rumors about that crime report that I posted last week. The story that is out is that it was not 12 PM but 12 AM and the pool was reserved for a party after an Ascension golf scramble. It was 2 lifeguards messing around and a guy walked in on them and the male lifeguard couldn't or wouldn't finish the act so the man that walked in on them finished the act for him. Rumor is he has a kindergartener at Ascension and he was in front of the grand jury yesterday. They are expecting it to be a bigger story in the news in the next couple days.

The run course at Long Run is kind of hilly. However, I only did the two mile loop. Im not sure about doing the next Duathlon. Its not so much the distance that concerns me but what the weather will be like. I think we might need some cold weather gear for the next one. I saw a preview on MTV this morning for a new show called "Shot of Love with Tila Tequila". For those of you who don't know, Tila Tequila is a hot asian chick (even if she does resemble E.T. a little) who got her start on the internet, and apparently has become huge on myspace. This is a typical celebrity dating show (and I use celebrity loosely) where she will be placed into a house with potential suitors, whom she will whittle down to one. The twist is that she is apparently bisexual, so there will be both men and women in the house. Let's recap:
1) She's hot
2) She's asian
3) She's into girls
That is what I like to call the Big Jay trifecta.

douglas on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 10:09 AM

Brock, I'm taking my general exams this fall, any suggestions?

Brock on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:16 AM

Are those the same as qualification exams or the qualifier? At Cincy, we didn't take actual exams for ours, we had to write a grant proposal on a topic unrelated to our research and defend it against a committee of professors.

Regardless of its format, it is by far the most brutal part of graduate school (don't mean to scare you). If they are actual examinations, I'd just hit the books hard especially in the core classes you took. My biggest suggestion would be to contact others in your program who have taken them before and get their advice... by far your best bet.

Also, don't take them in March... my biggest distraction was basketball season and yours might be football season.

Barry on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:25 AM

we have it set up as follows:

qualifying (preliminary) exams - give a talk they ask a bunch of questions and try to find out what classses I still need to take

general exams-the bitch exams. As I understand it they are designed to see what I know and show me that I don't know nearly as much as I think I do. Everyone says these are the worst. Again I'm going to give a talk on my research and they will fire away.

Brock on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 4:44 PM

So Payton is having wrist surgery today to repair a fractured scaphoid bone. 3-4 day recovery time (6-8 weeks in cast) and he'll be playing guard instead of center against St.X. I think Trinity and my parents really want him to play next week.

28 is probably too high....but I bet if LSU wanted to they could.

UK looked real good vs. Arkansas, I can't get to my hands on Spurrier's ass for all the bullshit comments he's made about KY thru the years

Bigworm on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 8:48 PM

Douglas - I just don't see us going down to South Carolina and beating Spurrier on a Thursday night game.

douglas on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 8:16 AM

it'll be tough yes, but i have this weird thing now w/ UK football games, it's almost like when UK basketball plays, like rather than expecting to lose, I know we're capable of winning. Rather than expecting the worst, I'm hoping for the best. Weird huh, especially with UK football?

Bigworm on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 9:38 AM

Oh I think this is our best chance ever of knocking off Spurrier and yes I think we can do it.....but the ole ball coach has a trick or two up his sleeve I am sure.

joe on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 12:31 PM

For some reason I played Jake Delhomme over Donovan McNAbb on one of my fantasy teams. I'm not very smart.

Brock on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 12:34 PM

You didn't have Kevin Curtis sitting on your bench with over 47 points. Not that in a million years I would start Curtis over Randy Moss or Santana Moss... all of whom combined scored less than Curtis.

Too bad Mario is scared to get hit and drops the ball when he hears footsteps.

the dented rim is nothing my tool and a hatched couldn't temporarily fix.

I never read 1602. I know I've seen stories like it before, but I can't name any
I felt like we got thrown into the middle of a story, and it was a little disconcerting. Hopefully, subsequent episodes will fill in detail

joe on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 9:23 AM

Just got this email at work:

arena preparation to soon affect downtown traffic

Traffic Changes on Main and Third Streets Begin Sept. 28

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – As preparations continue for the new downtown arena, various lanes on West Main Street, between Second and Third streets will be closed for four weeks beginning after the morning rush hour on Friday, Sept. 28.

The three most northern lanes of Main Street, including the parking lane, will be closed for approximately three weeks. Then the two most southern lanes, including the parking lane, will be shut down for the final week.

Once the Main Street work is complete, in late Oct., Third Street between River Road and Main Street will be reduced to one southbound lane for up to six weeks.

Crews will be working 24 hours a day, seven days a week in order to complete the work as soon as possible.

Third Street will be open to North and Southbound traffic once work is completed on Main and Third streets.

Are we still expanding the football stadium after this season?

Phil on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 9:26 AM

I had a dream that my dad bought me an ATV along with a matching one for my sister. We were riding them around, and then I got off to run for some reason. When I went back to find it, the thing was gone.

But it was real near a kroger that was near a river bed. So I went to the kroger to look for it, and it wasn't there. But Greg from O'shea's worked there and told me he knew a guy that worked for the fish and wild life department and they'd help me find it.

Then I woke up.

douglas on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 9:34 AM

joe, the answer your question about TV shows, Dirty Sexy Money premiered last night and it wasn't bad at all, a lot like Arrested Development, but an hour long. Basically about a rich family with seriously fucked up issues, and their new family lawyer who plays the straight arrow in the show. the best character is the son who's a Catholic priest but cusses all the time, and refuses to claim his illegitimate son, he even yelled at his babymama the first show.

i can sunday for sure. i've got class 'til 4:30 tomorrow

also, if anyone goes to the walgreens on shelbyville rd by joe's house, go look in the photo center above the computers where you download pictures. they have sample photos where you can have your picture put on the cover of different magazines. i was in there yesterday getting my passport pictures done, and while i was waiting, i did a double take when i saw bmac's picture on the wall. apparently lauren took a picture of the two of them on a golf course and had it transposed on the cover of a Golf Digest, and they're using it as one of their samples on the wall. what's funny is i called to tell bmac about it and give him shit, and long story short, i kinda ruined his birthday present from lauren

I think Jay watched past seasons of this show. But it appears Beauty and the Geek has added a "girl geek" and a "male beauty" to this season. The "male beauty" is said to be a "party/club promoter." However He is clearly an actor as I recognized him for a few things and apparently so did some IMDB users. IMDB doesn't list the show for him yet, But it is definitely him. Jay do you still watch this? or was that someone else entirely?

Sam Horrigan's "male beauty's" IMDB page
http://imdb.com/name/nm0395353/
His party promoter "self-love" page

I want to know if the "girl geek" is an actress too. Although they DID NOT get a girl that "could be cute" once you eliminate the ponytail and glasses. ... and don't forget the paint-covered overalls.

So....has anybody been to Seneca since it rained. How long do you guys think we need to wait before we hit the trails again?

Phil on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 10:03 AM

I thought of Adrian when I saw this comic:
http://xkcd.com/323/

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 10:11 AM

Oh that's fantastic.

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 10:13 AM

I posted on that last week, Marc. And I really don't think the girls all that bad looking. Wait for the makeover.

joe on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 10:57 AM

I watched an episode of that and I think she won't be too bad after the make over. What was hilarious is when three-6 mafia yelled at her to "show us your booty"

If the rain holds off today I might try and ride. I am free all week except Thursday. I am doing a 5k on Saturday, but I am still up for a ride after noon or so on Saturday.

Scott and I did a 5k last Saturday. Scott finished in 20:05 I was 20:30. I was 10th overall and Scott was 7th. If anyone knows of any 5k's that they want to do or don't want to do let me know. I am determined to get below 20:00.

Jerome on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:15 AM

This week, Joe and I are the fantasy football equivalent of two midgets swinging at a piñata

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:29 AM

Joe, there is a 5k in frankfort on Friday, Oct 26th. I am considering it. It's 15 in advance and 20 on the race day. That is also the day before the unofficial staggerween, if you are interested.

On another note, do you remember calling me saturday? You were pretty drunk.

joe on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:33 AM

Hey Jerome, I saw the handbell letter you sent out not too long ago on my mom's fridge. It's nice how you dropped a rockstar status reference.

The 26th in Louisville is a 5k called Run Like Hell that the fox is promoting.

I called a lot of numbers. I remember going back and forth with you "who is this" "I don't know who is this"

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:50 AM

Yeah, it was funny. I just saw a banner that said Transformers will be released on DVD Oct 16. Sweet!

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:55 AM

That is what I call the jackpot baby.

Jerome on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 11:59 AM

Also out on Oct. 16 is the complete series of Studio 60

Brent on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 12:48 PM

I might do that 5K on saturday. I went out for a run yesterday and was exhausted after 3 miles, it was freakin ridiculous.

Barry on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 1:00 PM

so, my dad's coming down this weekend and we are for sure going to the saints-panthers game. I have a ticket for the LSU-UF game and my dad is going to try to get a ticket, but they're going to cost a shitload of $$$. Wes if your son had a ticket to a game like that and you couldn't obtain one , would you be ok with him going to the game without you?

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 2:37 PM

I got a 96%. I could have had a 100, but my mind turned off for a half second.

jen on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 2:39 PM

so unofficial staggerween is the weekend before Halloween?

Phil on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 2:46 PM

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:05 PM

Yep, Saturday the 27th.

jen on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:19 PM

Stagger on a Saturday... crazy. Are we wearing costumes?
And, for the record, I'm never eating at Gibby's again. I had heartburn for 4 days.

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:31 PM

Barry - Perfectly okay I think. What would be awesome though is if you can score another ticket in the student section for him.

Jerome on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:32 PM

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:33 PM

Jerome that's old shit.

Jay on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 3:50 PM

I'm sorry, jen. We are definitely wearing costumes, unless you are too cool for that.

jen on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 4:00 PM

Nah, I'm not too cool. And, I'm not waiting until the day before to find a costume. AND I'm not going to miss it this time.

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 5:33 PM

Barry - ask your dad if he wants to pony up $100 bucks or find some hot little coed and exchange ass for seat.

Barry on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 5:50 PM

if only it worked that way bigworm. in reality, i would have to exchange my seat and $100 for some ass

joe on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 7:43 PM

wes, i went biking with brent

Bigworm on Monday, October 01, 2007 at 8:32 PM

That's cool, I can't ride tomorrow, but I am free Wednesday. If you want to ride Wednesday I'll bring my bike to work and just meet you at your house again.

Marc on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 1:20 AM

Phil, I am on Flannagan's email list and got this in my inbox when I got home.

"Loyal Ale Drinkers,
Hey guys! We have a ton of great new beers and beer promotions going on in the next couple weeks, October is going to be an exciting month. Tuesday, October 2nd, we have the tapping of the cask from BBC. Cask conditioned beer (or real ale) is different from regular draft beer: it is put into the cask with live yeast, so it naturally ferments, rather than adding extraneous gases such as CO2. It is manually pumped out of the cask that sits directly behind the bar, and is the freshest beer you will ever have, since it will be brought directly from BBC on Tuesday. The night starts at 7:00, and the first 48 to try a real ale will receive a BBC glass with all three of our bars' logos on them!"

Trivia has been light recently, I think I'm gonna get a beer and glass at Flanny's and then head over to trivia.

That damn question about when the Constitution threw me off? It follows the DOI question so for some reason I read it as "When was the DOI written?" Is this the kind of trickery that keeps people from getting naturalized....bastards!

Brent on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 10:42 AM

Phil, I can't believe we missed that game, the Padres score 2 runs in the top of 13th, then bring in their closer Hoffman and the Rockies answer by scoring 3 in the bottom...unbelievable.

Brent on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 10:45 AM

Joe, here are the sites I was telling you about:

http://www.louisvillebicycleclub.org/forum/

http://classifieds.roadbikereview.com/index.php

Phil on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 10:45 AM

yeah, we should have checked the score. That was a mistake.

I'd buy this car, but everyone knows that the resell value of a car falls apart at 1,000,000 miles
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/car/408063146.html

Brent on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 10:48 AM

"Ive replaced the timing belt and the water pump 8 times!" Jesus, that alone is worth buying a new car. He's crazy if he thinks he's going to get $2300.

Phil on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 10:59 AM

Someone did the math and he's run up about $100,000 worth of gas and oil changes alone on that bitch.

Speaking of dropping some coin, here's the info on the Never Ever Hockey league. It is $550 for the one where they sell you the equipment too:
http://lahpa.com/page0/page0.html

Phil on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 11:06 AM

Oh, you also need to spend $35 to become a member of USA hockey.

$550 is a lot, but I'm justifying it because you get to keep the equipment and use it for the next season ("the never, ever again league") and because $250 is less than what I'd spend at trivia if I was going there. See, I'm saving money!

joe on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 11:10 AM

Hey Phil lets take that road bike out for a ride some time. Wes, we mountain biking Wednesday? I think I have early softball on Thursday.

Bigworm on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 1:45 PM

Yeah, mountain biking on Wednesday because I can't get out tonight. I'll bring my gear with me to work on Wednesday and meet you guy(s) where ever.

adrian on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:17 PM

I get to move in my apartment Saturday. I am psyched!

Brock on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:19 PM

You have furniture?

adrian on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:21 PM

yeah

adrian on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:22 PM

I bought a bed room suit, table and chairs and a couch

Bigworm on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:35 PM

Adrian - when did you buy all this stuff and are they delivering it or do I have to help you move it all. Jackass.

Jerome on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 3:53 PM

I guess the answer is giving Michael Vick classes
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/...tory?id=3046273

Marc on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 4:49 PM

I know Adrian has furniture for his new apartment. Because a couple weeks ago, as I was going into Books A Million, I saw Adrian leaving Bed Bath and Beyond on a Saturday. (and the day of the UofL vs UK game.)

Phil on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 4:58 PM

Hey Adrian, what place did you decide on?

adrian on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 4:58 PM

Come on Marc. We know you can't read

adrian on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 4:58 PM

Brock on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 5:03 PM

Welcome to the East End.

Marc on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 5:03 PM

You're right. I was going because Tiffany wanted to. I just wanted to point out I didn't see you at Bed Bath and Beyond because I was there. Instead I saw you because you drove by, stopped, and told me.

Jerome on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 5:08 PM

Dear Diary, I want to drive my fist into someone's skull. Love, Jerome

Brock on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 5:18 PM

I'll send Tom Brady over, Jerome.

Barry on Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at 5:28 PM

video i watched as an undergrad on dauphin island discussing the very disproportioned genitalia of barnacles (hermaphrodites by the way). Worth a laugh if you're really bored. Or worth laughing at the fact that biologists think this is funny.

Okay, I have my bike and gear with me so I will meet you there. If things change just let me know.
