so what wedding do you think will have the hottest single females?

Cuban on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 7:47 PM

Scroggins. Hooter Girls as bridesmaides

joe on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 7:55 PM

the problem with douglas' is that they all hate us.

mowgli on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 7:59 PM

Since we are on the subject, some of you may know that Cheryl and I went to Florida earlier this week. And we are now engaged...So to add to the drama, I guess I'm joining the gay club.

joe on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 8:10 PM

douglas, any word on b-mac?

Jay on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 8:30 PM

God Damn! It really is contagious!

Don't drink the water straight dudes.

Brock on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 10:40 PM

WHAT THE HELL!?!

I figured it out. 2008 is the 10th anniversary of Natty Sci.... or at least I think. 1998 was sophomore year and when we start playing intramurals, so I'm pretty sure its 10 years.

Jay on Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 10:46 PM

You are correct, Brock

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 12:48 AM

Brent and I just got kicked out of Akikos because we were talking to girls. No shit.

We are rebels.

Jay on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 7:19 AM

Wait, what?

Bigworm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 7:43 AM

Philco - You'd be proud. I sent AJ to daycare in the "Philco Pimp Suit" today. Swooshy pants and a polo shirt; I don't call him Big Stud for nothing.

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 8:22 AM

now if only he had a buffalo bills hat to go with it.

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 8:27 AM

This will be the 9th GBITT if we have it, it might be too gay. We were discussing last night the tent, should we have one this year? Might be a touchy subject, but do we have a band? It is 83 days to GBITT damnit!

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 8:58 AM

i think renting this might be more appropriate than the tent:
http://www.inflatablechurch.com/

still trying to figure out why we got kicked out. in terms of being drunk phil I was about a 2 and in terms of brent being drunk brent he was maybe a 1. Either the DJ didn't like brent or some dude that was trying to pick up a girl I chatted with sold us out.

Very weird.

I also didn't get this girls number. I got her name. Like her full name. So it was basically like saying "hey, stalk me on the internet. Maybe we can hangout sometime if you find me..."

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:07 AM

I also remember the dude saying that we "can't just talk to any girl that we want."

Brent should be able to provide more details, assuming he didn't go to jail for burning that place down last night.

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:24 AM

No offense guys, but I think we need to call in a 3rd party. I could see this being an instance like where you ask Chris why did the girl push you then run off and get security and he says I don't know I didn't do anything.

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:24 AM

Brent, what is your version?

Bigworm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:34 AM

Do we have security footage?

Philco - I agree ultimate game of hide and seek. I think you should find her and approach her like our man Demetri would! That guy has style.

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:44 AM

awkward moment of the day. I was just at the bank in the lobby of my building. I am a regular there so they are friendly and the teller starts talking about how they say everybody has a twin out there. She then said that I look exactly like her brother who is in med school in Texas, we have the same eyes, smile and facial features and everytime she sees me she thinks I miss my brother. So she told me that if she is ever giving me a wierd look it is the I miss my brother look. The only problem is that she is Indian and her last name is Patel.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:10 AM

for what it's worth, the indian chick from ER reminds me the babysitter who was a blonde white chick.

but i still think that she wants a little joe action. don't be surprised if the security guard arrests you for talking to her. apparently that's against the rules now.

Bigworm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:23 AM

You just can't talk to any girl that you want.

i feel like i must apologize for the recent rash of engagements, when i threw my life down the toilet i didn't mean for that to start a trend. i feel horrible. can we officially say that getting engaged has jumped the shark?

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:56 AM

were you getting engaged before getting engaged was cool?

douglas on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:58 AM

and don't expect the female quotient at scroggin's wedding to be that great, FYI, she's not really that great of friends with any of those hooters girls, and ashley really doesn't have that many friends anyway, she doesn't have any ideas for bridesmaids at all right now. and her former best friend, who is hot, is no longer friends with her, and if they make up before the wedding and comes, it's a double edged sword b/c she's got VD. plus i think they're keeping their wedding somewhat small

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:58 AM

i'm still anxiously awaiting brent's take on it.

his theory is that the DJ asked us to leave because brent jumped up and performed backup vocals for the girl.

douglas on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:59 AM

i was actually gonna' say that, but then i figured chris and wes could throw up the argument that they did it way before it was cool, so I didn't say anything

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:02 AM

I remember VD girl, what was her name, Kristen, something with a K?

douglas on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:04 AM

krista

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:08 AM

she was hot.

douglas on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:17 AM

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:50 AM

the more and more I think about it I'm beginning to the think the DJ was the one that set the events in motion.

You'd have to be an epic douchebag to use the bouncer to get some guys kicked out because the girl you were hitting on gave someone their number.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1:31 PM

So the more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm leaning to I got cock blocked by the dude in the green shirt by him "telling on me." The bouncer said we can't be talking to just anyone we want. The two ladies we were talking with didn't seem to be that bothered by us. Now the DJ didn't like Brent, but if he asked for us to get kicked out I don't think the bouncer would have said anything about us talking to people.

I wish brent would hop on here. I was a little fuzzy at the time

joe on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1:37 PM

Per a girl at work:

"I just got this super awesome e-mail that I thought you would enjoy also:

Have you heard about Shark Jesus?

A virgin shark in some aquarium is pregnant. This is a shark that was born in captivity and has been in a tank by herself her entire life. I guess sharks need a Messiah too. No matter what anybody says, I will refuse to believe anything that is not a shark God, shark angel answer."

Anybody heard about this? Barry, any marine biology input?

Brent on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 3:40 PM

So I was pretty drunk last night and my recall of the events might not be the most accurate. I know that I wanted to punch the bouncer in the face last night for literally saying, "you can't just talk to any girl you want." Last night, I didn't challenge it too much but this morning I was like wtf? The more I think about it, it probably had to do with those two chicks, because when I went up to try and sing with one, the DJ came out and ran me off, saying I wasn't allowed. So the next time the girl was up there singing, her friend, said to me, "go up there and help her out." I told her the DJ would get pissed and run me off again. Sure enough, I go up there and the DJ comes out and the girl tells him its okay. Phil and I go back outside talk to the bouncer for a little bit, I make a phone call and then we go back inside sit down talk a little, watch this chic sing, I guess after about 15-20 min the dude pulls us aside and says "come with me" and wouldn't tell us why we were being asked to leave...freakin weird. Honestly, I don't think either one of us were threatening in any way.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 3:46 PM

hmmmm, drama drama. I forgot about the phone call outside. All kinds of stuff could have happened at that point.

So your theory is the DJ complained to the bouncer about you?

Right now I think it could go either way. Really the only person I was being a dick to was the dude in the green shirt that was talking to that one girl that I drunkenly followed me up there.

Dom knows the bouncer in question. His opinion: the bouncer is a dick.

Brent on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:08 PM

Bouncer definitely could use a face punching maybe even a tire iron sodomization, lol.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:23 PM

oh well. maybe that chick will come to trivia next week and we can get to the bottom of it.

at least now my unfounded dislike of akikos is now founded

douglas on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:32 PM

what possessed you all to go there in the first place? It's been years since I've been there, I think after I graduated I officially had too much class to go there, and that's saying something...

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:34 PM

the potentially cute girl said they were going there. Good enough reason for me.

I'm also amused that in our stories we were minding our own business and being no worse than usual, but in reality I'm hitting on a girl that there with some dude and Brent's chatting up married women and jumping up on stage singing. But if doing that is worth getting kicked out of a bar, they should just not let us in because lord knows that's gonna happen regardless.

Bigworm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:40 PM

Sounds pretty tame to me fellas. Sounds like the bouncer is just a dick. And when did Akikos get a bouncer to begin with, didn't realize the crowd was that rough.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:42 PM

he's more like the dude that stands at the door and acts like a douche

I know they don't have any customers, but I thought that was a bad thing, not like, a business strategy

Bigworm on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4:46 PM

Apparently you two were both more intoxicated than you lead on though Philco.

Phil on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 5:46 PM

oh there is no questioning the drunkenness levels. Hell, I was at akikos.

But we weren't black out drunk and Brent and I are both the types to readily admit when we have been assholes. I think it'll just have to be a mystery. Unless potentially cute girl comes back to bearnos. Then Law & Order: Natty Sci will be on the case. Doink doink.

douglas on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:22 AM

is is the same douchebag bouncer that's been there for years? He's not much of a bouncer, I've seen him get his ass handed to him. There was a big fight at akiko's one night and he tried to get involved and ended up getting thrown onto the street and his head kicked into the pavement

No Miata for me. I rode in Bmac's Miata one time because I felt sorry for him driving to the bars alone and we had three in Cuban's car, I think. So I decide to roll with Bmac. Now the more I think about it, that was really a super queer thing to do. Two dudes cruising in a Miata to a bar, probably should have went straight to Connections. Fags.

Jay on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 7:30 PM

This weekend is one of Michelle's friends birthdays. I said I'd be DD.

Brock on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 10:43 PM

Michelle is unaware of any of her friends having a b-day this weekend. Therefore, you must be speaking of another Michelle. If you are referring to another Michelle, you must qualify this Michelle (i.e. Frankfort Michelle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Michelle, So and So's Michelle). Because....

there is only one "Michelle" when in the context of Natty Sci.

Kind of like if I said, "one of Jay's friends," but wasn't referring to the Crazed Buffalo. There is only one Chosen One.

I wasn't saying you weren't natty sci, i'm just saying the team at trivia is more of a "Team Brent" than anything natty sci related. So a natty sci team could still exist side by side with team brent.

Apparently that dude that played against Devin Harris is a real prick and kept getting cut by teams in England because of his personality, but he's like the Hot Sauce of England. If I was Duke Tango calling the And1 game with him in it I'd call him "HP Sauce".

jesus, i'm pretty sure I had to use microfiche in college. Used it a lot in high school and maybe even in grade school.

The only time I really ever used it was at the main branch of the library though.

joe on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 4:01 PM

On Monday, November 17, 2008 from 5 to 9 pm, all 485 Golden Corral restaurants across America will offer any person who has served in the United States Military (including National Guard and Reserves) a free “thank you” dinner buffet and beverage - no identification required.

Bigworm on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 4:10 PM

Oh my basement is done.

Carpet was put in on Friday, I have to shave the bottoms of some pre-hung doors so they close properly due to carpet being really freaking thick and mount the hardware for my access doors and viola, finished.

The office furniture and most of the living room furniture was delivered on Wednesday, missing our coffee table and I just ordered an entertainment center that is freaking huge. I will move my big screen in the basement when my entertainment center arrives in a couple weeks. Yeah so if you want to check it out come on over....I think it's pretty sweet.

Joe - Ever been to Wing and Rings on Chamberlain and 146, close to Lauras I guess? They have $2.00 happy hour beer and a full bar and some decent food.

Bigworm on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 4:11 PM

it carpet was put in on monday and fridge delivered today.

Speaking of which, the fride delivery people hate us. So the fride we bought was too big to fit through the basement door, even if they removed the doors...so we put that one upstairs, but they had to move the one in the kitchen into the basement and then haul the one from the garage out. I am sure they pissed and moaned about it all day long.

joe on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 4:22 PM

When the entertainment center comes I think I will come check it out. Maybe on a gameday of some sort.

Never been to wings n rings.

The titans are reminiscent of the 2006 Bears.

Phil on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 4:26 PM

i'm looking forward to next year when the titans wear their oiler throwbacks against the jets. Because then the jets can rock their Titans throwbacks. So it'll be the Oilers vs the Titans.

I'm easily amused.

If a band gets played on a classic rock channel and they put out a new album, does it get put in the "classic" genre as well? Shouldn't a band have quit putting out new shit to be on a classic rock station? And since I'm stil pissed WQMF plays STP and Pearl Jam, what exactly is classic rock? Music from a certain time period or music that has reached a certain age?

And this article spawned this little rant. The "Gunners" are releasing a new album

There is an uprising event going on. The minorities are wondering why they have been excluded from Jay's "All the Birthdays" list. Where's Cuban? Where's the other minorities? Like The Pygmies (Brent), Where are the Goat-fuckers? (Douglas) No mentally-deficient individuals who drive tiny cars and moved else where in the US? What do we need some affirmative action on Natty Sci?

Anyone interested in doing something for Halloween in Nashville? I think we are planning to hit downtown for the multiple bashes going on down there.

joe on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 10:14 AM

Any good Halloween costume ideas this year?

Got a Halloween party invite. They are theming it. The theme is classic movies, classic like the era not like good movies. Any ideas?

I want to go this year as Casey Jones from TMNT just to carry around a baseball bat, golf club and hockey stick. I think it is a classic, but I don't think he came out until the 2nd TMNT with Ninja Rap.

Bigworm on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 10:20 AM

okay, so what time frame constitutes classic? Are we talking Greek Antiquity, The Renaissance, pilgrims or early 1900's?

Either way, I think you can go as Bill S. Preston Esquire (never knew he was a lawyer) or "Ted" Theodore Logan. They time travel so you are covered.

Pretty funny email I received.

David Sedaris, on undecided voters

"I look at these people and can't quite believe that they exist. Are they professional actors? I wonder. Or are they simply laymen who want a lot of attention? To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. "Can I interest you in the chicken?" she asks. "Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it? To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."

Barry on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 7:49 PM

it really hurts more watching your team get dominated when you are at the game. there are 2 things that have frustrated me all season:
1)d- line underperforming. the secondary blows, but i knew that coming in because they're young. the only player we lost off the d-line (and i realize this is a big loss) -glenn dorsey. the 3 other starters and 15 million reserves are all back. why the lack of a pass rush?
2)why is brandon lafell our #1 receiver? he has greatly exceeded my expectations this year and has made a dramatic improvement over the last two years...but come on. throw the damn ball to demetrius byrd. hardly anyone can cover him and he's clutch.
another frustrating day.

douglas on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 12:36 PM

the name definitely can't be revealed, and i of course would need a substantial portion of the profits for being your muse

joe on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 12:47 PM

I think we can work out a deal. Wrom, can I have you write the foreward for this book?

joe on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 1:40 PM

Anybody have a sweater vest I can borrow for work Friday? I plan to come to work as a golfer and wear my hideous plaid pants and a sweater vest and a goofy hat. The key to the costume is the fact I plan to spend all day putting golf balls into a coffee cup in the aisles of the office. I really don't want to dress up for work but I want to play all day.

Bigworm on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 3:17 PM

Happy B-day Jay. Sorry I pussied out last night. I went home and took some pain killers and iced my ankle and passed out after a couple beers.

That is pretty nasty break, but why in the hell did they leave the carts that close to the field to begin with?

Somebody is getting fired for that one.

joe on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 3:37 PM

Sprained it a few weeks running around being stupid and just decided to keep playing basketball on it week after week instead of resting it and letting it heel.

joe on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 3:43 PM

Is it bad if you are up 19 with 2 minutes and decide to put the point guard cross midcourt and dribble in one place for 2 minutes stall on? Also, if a team tries a fast break pass off the backboard for an alley oop when up by 16, is it proper basketball etiquette to take the guy out on the oop?

I did get one of the best no calls I have ever seen in basketball. I tried to take a charge but while falling backwards I decided to grab on to the guy in the air and tackle him and take him to the ground with me. Too bad he made the shot.

douglas on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 4:04 PM

i think that's spectacular form joe. in high school, people always tried to do nut checks in games when refs weren't looking, they happen all the time, especially if someone's guarding you too tight

Happy Birthday Jay! Have fun wrecking the taco!

Jay on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 6:00 PM

Phil, Laura, and I were disscussing it today, and wrecking the taco is good for like a one night stand. For someone you care about, rocking the taco is more appropriate. They both have their uses, though. And honestly, that shot of midnight Patron was the best thing I could have done. I hacked up all the alcohol in my stomach, so I really didn't feel too bad this morning. And I woke up at 9:30. That seems way too early.

Bigworm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 8:55 AM

When the hell did we have Patron?

And I think I met a new friend at Flanagan's...his gf was not nearly impressed. But this is what I found out that night.

Phil on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:26 PM

It's an excellent sitting around drunk game. Unless you are so drunk you can't understand "just make sure you have seven red cards"

Bigworm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:35 PM

I don't have a clue how that game is played.

joe on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:47 PM

I hate it when I have people convinced in the office that don't know me well that I am just barely functional as a member of society and then someone has to go flapping that I am actually not retarded.

A little while ago some new girls walked by that work on the floor below me and I had on some headphones singing some crappy 90's song out loud while repeatedly slamming my 2 hole punch into my desk by holding onto the stack of papers that was stuck in it and swinging it around. Apparently I missed it but the guy in the cube next to me said they stopped and looked at me funny. Someone on their floor eventually told them that I am not "special" after they overheard them discussing my hole punch incident.

I worked so hard to get the reputation of incompetency and someone has to go and raise the bar.

Bigworm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:50 PM

Okay so I read the rules for Apples to Apples, or the rules according to Wiki. Seems pretty simple. But what they need to include is since it was Party Game of the year in 1999, if you are partying and way to drunk to understand you need 7 red cards...then place your cards back with the others of its kind.

Bigworm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:54 PM

Yeah probably shouldn't have for sure.

Bigworm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 4:33 PM

Word, Philco has mad crazy stalking skillz (yeah with a "z"),

joe on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 8:57 AM

Phil, you still should have hit the threesome at her parent's house with her friend, don't wake her kid and quit it. At least then you still have a stalker but you got a threesome out of it.

Phil on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 9:52 AM

Since we never really came up with a standard threesome algorithm for determining the hotness I can't be totally for sure, but I'm pretty sure the crazy here was easily out weighing the hotness on the vicky mandoza line.

Btw, this popped up in my RSS reader just now and it made me laugh:
http://icanhascheezburger.files.wor...ng-properly.jpg

Bigworm on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 10:07 AM

Phil - we should make that a top priority. After I build a time machine, I'll go back in time to precisely the night at Denny's when Huelsman had the chance to sleep with the two wolf women. I believe we will create a standard threesome algorithm for determining the hotness for sure.

joe on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 10:13 AM

Phil's weren't wolf women. When it comes to a threesome, the craziness has to be put to the side a little, because what kind of chick is gonna go for the threesome? If the women aren't hideous who here thinks a 3-some is hot? It is gonna be an elaborate algorithm.

I thought Barney Stinson had a threesome algorithm:
Is the combined weight below 300 lbs
are you paying any money
is the combined age under 80

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 11:26 AM

it's not an algorithm, but the standard procedure for measuring a threesome is as follows. all women are of course rated on a scale of 1-10. when going after one woman, your standards are weighted on that 1-10 scale, if she's a dimepiece, your answer is easy. if she's a five pointer, not so much, at which point of course beer goggles come into play. but the standard operating procedure for threesomes is that the two potential women combined must equal whatever number on that scale you need to proceed. hence, if you will perform intercourse with a six, then you need at least 2 3's to make a six, and you're ready to go. your standards can acceptably go lower as you are making up the difference with twice the fun, and of course the experience as a whole. as long as the end number is equal to or greater than your personally accepted number on the scale, you're good to go.

ah, douglas missed out on this conversation.

I don't think simple addition will work. Because if I was drunk I'd do a 6, lord knows I have in the past. But two threes? I mean, come on now. That's just nasty.

And then there is the Make a Wish situation. Let's say this 300lb drolling retard with AIDs has a wish for the make a wish foundation. Her wish: a threesome with you and Melissa Theuriau (http://spartacus.drogers.net/images...sa-theuriau.jpg). Now clearly Melissa Theuriau is the hottest person alive, so she's a 10. And the make a wish tard is coming in at a 1. So is this an eleven? Is having sex with a 300lb tard AND Melissa Theuriau better than having sex with JUST melissa theuriau?

I think not.

Bigworm on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 1:22 PM

Brent - What I have been saying is 55% is the magic number. If less than 55% vote in the Presedential election, you will get McCain and your president, greater than 55% and Obama will be the man.

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 1:39 PM

in your make a wish scenario, if that was the only way you get to do that Melissa chick, then goddamn you nut up and take one for the 'tard, having her in a threesome with a 'tard is better than not having her at all. and that is just a general rule, sure you can do what if's all day, but it works well in general.

joe on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 1:46 PM

do you claim the threesome? Why not just say I nailed that melissa chick and not even mention the tard that was in it.

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:17 PM

as for a drinking game, just watch a mccain speech and drink every time he says 'my friends,' or when you're watching the election results, have a shot whenever a reporter makes an attempt at putting obama's cock in their mouth, either way you're drunk in no time

Phil on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:30 PM

lynnie was talking about this before one of our soccer games, but more and more studies are showing not to do dynamic stretching prior to working out:

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:43 PM

my cousin who worked at urban active says the same thing, something about how stretching too much before working out makes your muscles weaker, especially in lifting, and you can lift more if you don't stretch

Bigworm on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:50 PM

Douglas - I think you are overly optimistic for McCain. I think Obama wins the majority vote by 7 points or so and wins the electoral college with about 320 EC votes.

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:51 PM

no way he sniffs 320

douglas on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:52 PM

i'm not saying obama loses, i'm just saying it's not gonna be a blowout, and i would not be shocked one bit if mccain wins. i'm not predicting a winner, just that it'll be closer than most people think

Phil on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 4:57 PM

I trust 538's numbers, and right now their most likely numbers are 311, 338, 353,364 and 291. I think there's a pretty good chance it's gonna be a whooping. The questing is whether or not how many closet racists show up to vote (or don't vote at all). The numbers he ran today indicate that even if 70% of all undecideds vote for him Obama still runs away with it. The only chance McCain has is the Bradley Effect

Phil on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 6:56 PM

538.com just updated with today's polls. They are predicting a 98.1% chance of Obama winning with an electoral vote count of around 346.

Gotta wonder what Obama's grandmother dying will do too, as morbid as that might be.

Brock on Monday, November 03, 2008 at 7:39 PM

The election is already over, we just don't know it yet. So many people voted early that tomorrow's numbers probably won't change it that much. Take a look at the polls from 2 weeks ago, and there is your winner.

Needless to say, I'm still voting tomorrow (for the excuse of standing in line for 2 hours), so I guess I should decide.

douglas on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 11:06 AM

the early voting before today was almost identical to what it was in '04, there hasn't been massive turnout like most people thought, and based on exit polls, which for the most part suck, but still, do not favor obama by much. remember, kerry was up 6 on election day in '04 and several networks had proclaimed him a winner....there is no bradley effect, that's just a reason democrats can use to say republicans are racist...even the NY times has discredited it, this was written by someone who worked on bradley's campaign:

The funniest thing is about the polls is that assumes every jackass that gives an opinion to the pollsters will vote the same way they are polled. Here is a crazy thing, sometimes people change their minds (not sure that is the case this year) or sometimes a small population sample captured in the West End of Louisville just doesn't agree with the whole city.

Also, some people just don't vote.

I get to leave work at 3 instead of 4:30 to go vote. We are a ghetto scantron facility with the pencils stolen from the putt putt course.

Bigworm on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 11:24 AM

Anybody want to go skydiving?

Bigworm on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 12:20 PM

I prediction for today's election. Obama will win the vote, there will be voter fraud and McCain will be the next president because supreme court overturns some EC votes.

4 more years of failed politics. Hillary 2012!

Brock on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 12:28 PM

So I've now voted in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee. All 3 states use different methods.

Kentucky - Scan-tron
Ohio - Punch holes with a needle into a card (hanging chads?)
Tennessee - Electronic

As much as I thought I'd prefer electronic voting, I prefer the scan-tron hands down. It just felt weird touching a screen and not getting anything to hold as confirmation. Hell, even at ATM's I get a receipt printout.

Wes, please hold off on the conspiracy theories until at least 8pm.

Tiffany on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 12:33 PM

Sucks about that guy. I had the great misfortune of seeing the guy get hit as I was outside chit chatting with the smokers. He is probably dead; the car was on top of his chest and when the ambulance pulled away they didnt turn on the siren.

joe on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 12:35 PM

News just said life threatening, so as of 12:15 he was still alive per WLKY. Is it bad that I am more excited about getting off work early then voting?

joe on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 12:38 PM

Also, I am more excited about playing 1 maybe 2 basketball games tonight. We are talking playoffs. We win at 6:15 we have an 8:15. That is dangerous to our health.

Bigworm on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 1:05 PM

Brock - it wasn't a conspiracy theory, it was a prediction.

In order for it to be a conspiracy theory, the "conspiracy" would have had to have taken place.

Phil on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 1:24 PM

adrian, you vote at the Evergreen Road VFW? There was something in the courier about that place opening late

hey, i also forgot. I got a text about some birthday party from Jesse but I forgot to respond to it. I'm intrigued by her suggestion, but I can only assume that it will all end badly

Brock on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 2:12 PM

So would we, as users, even notice a difference in a new web server?

Phil on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 2:18 PM

it should have better uptime. It's fully clustered so even if the server that it is living on dies it gets automatically moved to a server that is still running.

Other than that, meh, not really

joe on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 2:39 PM

Phil on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 5:25 PM

On early voter turnout from 538.com
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008...me-in-2008.html

31,268,357 voters have cast votes early in America, which represents 25.3% of the total of all ballots cast in 2004. Nobody doubts we are headed for an absolute record turnout in this election.

22.5% of Americans cast their vote early in 2004, and if that number held true for this election, then 138,970,474 Americans will end up casting ballots (that would be about a 65% voter turnout compared to 57% in 2004 and 50% in 2000)

Brock on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 5:49 PM

I'm curious to know what the 100% or total number of registered voters is. I guarantee its got a margin of error around 10%.

This is based solely on the fact that I was listed as a registered voter in Kentucky all they up to 2006, when I had been a registered voter in Ohio since 2001. I know mistakes like that are beefing up the numbers.

Phil on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 5:56 PM

they say there are apparently around 169 million registered voters, but it's not like anyone ever "unregisters" themselves when they move.

Brock on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 6:08 PM

So a greater than 80% turnout based on the +/- 10% 169 million registered voters. Theoretically, we could be looking at a 90% turnout. I think the highest I ever saw was like low 60th percentile in some of the elections in the 1960's.

Welcome to the 21st century!

douglas on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 10:11 PM

Phil on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 11:22 PM

btw, i thought it was funny that nbc was saying some nice things about mccain and they said something odd. They were saying that McCain was probably the most prepared man to be able to handle this situation due to his tour of duty in Vietnam.

Yeah, you know what? The way his campaign had been ran was a lot like a plane wreck and I'm sure dealing with Sarah Palin's dumb ass must have been close to a POW camp.

They were mentioning rumors that McCain himself realizes that this is probably very good for the country, and I hope he goes back to 2000 McCain...

Brock on Tuesday, November 04, 2008 at 11:41 PM

I was gung-ho for McCain until he started pandering to the hardcore base.

That, and I'm no longer a small business owner.

Who won? We lost our basketball game and then I watched some Family Guy and fell asleep.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 8:25 AM

calm down jay, don't have a heart attack on me. i know it's political season and everyone can be touchy, myself included. but before you start knocking bush about how bad the country is, look at your own personal situation. i know pretty much everyone that reads this site is so much better off than they were 4 years ago. nobody on here's a loser, despite what they might see of our drunk asses on new year's (which is close, we need to start discussing, but i digress). from what i can tell, everyone's got a good job, or is working on getting one very soon, makes decent money, and is generally moving up. Bush didn't fuck anything up for you, in spite of his 'horrible' leadership, you all manage to lead pretty decent lives. i would love for someone to say how bush personally dicked anybody, he didn't. and anybody who does say that is giving him way too much credit.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 8:38 AM

Douglas - yeah we are all doing well but the American public in general is not doing well. I mean fucking Ohio has 7.2% unemployment rate, are you kidding me?

I do agree that people also need to make better choices and help themselves and not look at the government for that shit, but at the same time...I think we all had more advantages growing up than the majority of people did in this country.

I also agree that the Republicans have controlled and ran this baby into the ground, time for new leadership and policies to see if we can right the ship. And we might not be able to for a long while, but atleast we are giving a chance.

Also, I think it is great that we had 80% turnout for registered voters. People have a voice and they are letting it be heard.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 8:41 AM

What is amazing to me is the state of Indiana. Indiana was the first state to go red in 2004, KY was a close second...but it looks as if Obama won that vote this year. Wow, that is pretty impressive.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 8:56 AM

Right on Joe.

Maybe Phil can just move this conversation to a "What the fuck were we thinking folder" maybe in the WTF? files?

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:01 AM

if everyone wants to blame republicans, just keep in mind where the market was and the unemployment rates were two years ago when the democrats took control of the senate and the congress. i can do the blame game too. bush presided over the single longest period of unprecedented economic growth in the country's history while there was a war going on. i definitely don't agree w/ everything he did, but you can't fault him for what's going on right now. most people did, hence obama won. i'm fine with it, i'm still gonna' be better off in four years than i am now, obama can't fuck with that, nor can anyone else. If you want to talk policies and unemployment rates in detail, and specific states, i'm down for that too, i read way too much political stuff i can definitely handle that, but keep in mind, the ten cities and states with the highest unemployment rates have been controlled by democrats since like the 60's. If anyone thinks shit's just gonna' magically turn around now that republicans are gone, and anyone putting too much faith, or any faith at all for that matter, in the government, is going to be very disappointed. anyone that relies on the government for anything is always going to be disappointed.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:02 AM

now i'm done ranting and i feel the need to make a fart joke or something, somebody say something stupid and quick

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:08 AM

Douglas - Any why were the ten biggest cities controlled by Democrats?

I am guessing they were cities that use to be big manufacturing places that had unions perhaps. So these business owners/directors send American jobs oversees because we can't compete with the manufacturing base of the global economy. New policies are needed, and I welcome that.

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:13 AM

Just to throw my $.02. I with Douglas on a lot of issues.
Obama being elected president doesn't bother me that bad. Maybe now we can get over this ridiculous issue that "THE Man" is keeping people down.

I'm more worried that the majority in both the Senate and House is all Democratic. That is just not right. Noone should have that much power without a form of checks and balance.

Plus Pelosi is a BITCH.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:13 AM

For the record, you can't win an argument pertaining to politics. People get emotional and you can't make a rational decision. Abby and I don't even talk politics nor do we tell each other who we vote for.

joe on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:15 AM

I still like my American flag in my TV room...48 stars.

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:16 AM

Wes,

It's not about winning the argument. It's about making an intelligent decision. If you voted for Obama because he is Black or was preaching "change" your an idiot.

I'm not knocking you for voting for Obama, because you actually understand what he stood for and made a choice. I hat people who just vote party lines and don't do research. Those are the ones who disgust me.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:33 AM

Cuban - The Democrats have the majority but they didn't reach the Super Majority number of 60 Senators. Had they won that many seats the GOP couldn't have done a damn thing to stop Obama from anything.

I voted Obama because he is the first person to tackle healthcare and actually come up with a plan. I find it ridiculous that we spend billions of dollars on foreign aide and the war, yet we have people here that have no health coverage, especially children. The middle class is shrinking and if we keep sending manufacturing jobs abroad it will continue to decline. Does that mean I think a Ford line worker should make $100K a fucking year. Hell no, but I do think they can make $35-40K a year and have a good job and still be competitive on the global market place.

I voted Obama because I think McCain would have continued Bushian policies and at this point in time, I think the majority of America needs a change. I didn't make the best decision for myself, if I wanted to do that I would have just voted McCain and kept my middleclass lifestyle. And remember in order to get any "change" you have to change leadership to someone that won't continue the same policies. I believe he will change things in this country, but it won't be as radical as some think it will be.

I voted Obama because I saw an articulate man who can actually address a nation without falling over his fucking words and he doesn't look like an ass doing it. I mean seriously, the past two or three years when I listed to W (yes he had some tough decisions) but Jesus Christ can you not fucking talk, and what is that idiotic look all about?

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:38 AM

Jay - After reading your post to Douglas, I believe that is the most worked up I have seen you since you told Truman to leave your fucking computer alone. Wow.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:43 AM

none of that was stupid, i'm trying to move on here from politics, but if you want jobs to stay in america, you keep unions out. guess who wants to strengthen unions and install cardcheck, which eliminates secret ballots. look at how toyota has performed compared to ford, gm, and chrysler, what do the 3 of them have in common that toyota doesn't?.....there will more going overseas if that happens and if corporate taxes go up. I can't find the link, but I know i've read before about the cities in the worst shape have been run by democrats for years, think Nola, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, Buffalo, Philly...all cities with high tax rates. i can literally do this all day, point counterpoint

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:49 AM

Douglas I am anti union that is for sure. I think unions are organized crime.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:54 AM

then no offense, but your vote completely contradicts your beliefs, because Card Check is one of the first things he wants to do. I've heard numerous manufacturing plant owners in interviews say if that gets passed, they're gonna' shut down, b/c the unions aren't worth the trouble. So the very people that are supposed to be helped are in turn hurt.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 9:57 AM

unemployment will go up for sure, we'll miss 7.2% rates

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:05 AM

I believe the Senate still has a chance at the 60 majority number. Last I checked they have 56 and there are still 4 left to decide.

BTW I didn't say you were a fucking idiot. I said the idiots were people who voted for him because of his race or because he is a Democrat and not for his politics. Which are most of the people who I to spoke to at work.

I hope he turns out to be a good president because Bush (who I am glad to say I did not vote for) was not a good president and America needs a strong leader.

I just dont agree with most of what Obama stands for. I don't think American's deserve healthcare ( I believe it is a priviledge not a right), I don't think raising taxes right now will help, and I really don't want him to take away my second ammendment right.

joe on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:10 AM

Who won the Buffalo-Miami(OH) game last night?

adrian on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:13 AM

Joe,

I don't know but i like how USC is crushing teams left and right and keep falling in the BCS. The BCS is an interesting beast.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:15 AM

I am anti-union because I think they are way to powerful and the drive up ridiculous wages for work that is over paid for. I do believe that unions give the people a voice though, that otherwise some companies would drive over.

I think unions have the potential to be good, but they need to work with the company to ensure top pay employees turnover their jobs for younger workers to keep the cost of goods down. That is what GE did here in Louisville and the result they were cost competitve with other US GE plants (not all are union plants).

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:20 AM

Cuban - I think you need to re-read your post above about "change", let's be honest much isn't going to happen...unless they get the magic number of 60.

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:27 AM

I disagree. I don't think they need the 60 to make a difference. I don't want them to get to 60 because It would be too easy, but with the majority they have a lot can get done.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:40 AM

Well how many Senators are going to oppose the majority? They might want to look out for themselves. Mitch spent $20M dollars this year on his campaign which destroyed the previous record of $6M. He was targetted because he was the top dog and look at how close his race with Lunsford was....which is amazing because the presidential race wasn't that close.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:54 AM

last i heard it's gonna' be 55, which is better than expected, coleman's supposedly won MN over franken, and stevens won again in Alaska. they don't need the 60 seats, but with 55, plus the 2 independents that caucus with them, they're still short of the supermajority. nothing's necessarily guaranteed w/ the senate with 57 votes, but that means they only need to get 3 from republicans, so there will be some stuff I totally disagree with passed, like it or not. McConnell however has now become the #1 ranking Republican in the country. As the leader of those republican votes in the senate, he is literally the only person in the country that acts as a check to the Democratic President and Congress. if you think democrats are happy today, they would be circle jerking each other across the country if mcconnell lost, that's why hillary and bill and all the Dem top dogs have been in town. Contrary to those who believe mcconnell is devil #2 behind bush, it really is better for the country that he's in there

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:57 AM

No, you can block some ideas with the majority, it is almost impossible to do with a super majority. Changes to the constitution require 2/3 vote which is why the super majority is often needed, because you then need only 6 more votes to get it passed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supermajority

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 10:58 AM

I voted for McConnell and Northup and Obama. Figure that one out.

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 11:00 AM

I'm not a big Northup fan. I actually voted YARMUTH! Maybe it was the exclamation point?

Im glad McConnell won.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 11:03 AM

i will say this, and not as a conservative, that both lunsford and yarmouth are pricks, especially lunsford. they're both members at valhalla and i've caddied for both of them, and you can learn a lot about someone on the golf course. yarmouth is nice enough, but he has an air of superiority. lunsford is just a rich prick, talks about his his racehorses constantly. neither were great tippers at all. i will disclose i'm not mcconnell's biggest fan either, he's more moderate for my tastes, i can't stand that he helped author the bailout bill that's been nothing but a disaster, but his power and influence for the state are second to none and he's better than any alternative

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 11:07 AM

and it's worth noting i was a democrat back in those days

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 11:10 AM

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 11:53 AM

i don't want my ass anywhere near your party's mailing list, haha. i'm on like 3 republican mailing lists. i got an invite to go down to the galt house last night where mcconnell was speaking as a matter of fact.

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 12:21 PM

Out of curiosity, what did that fundraiser cost to get in?

joe on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 12:38 PM

Northup just needs to give up already. Go join a book club or something. If your want to run something go join. I almost feel bad for her after her third loss in a row (2 to yarmuth and the guvna primary). Doesn't Yarmuth own the Leo?

So Douglas, when are you running for mayor of Okalona?

adrian on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 12:41 PM

yes yarmuth owns the leo...or did...i am not sure if he still does

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 12:46 PM

Northup only ran because she was an alternate for the GOP candidate. The original GOP candidate had to go back to Iraq.

Brent on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 12:54 PM

I voted for Obama and most democrats because I think the Republicans have lost their way. Personally, I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Does this mean I agree with Obama's policies, no, but I do agree with some of his ideologies. Moreover, I think he's genuine. I don't view him as a demagogue like the rest of the politicians out there running. To me, Republicans were supposed to represent state rights and smaller government. Over the last decade they have pushed for larger government through fear mongering and big government control, pushing for things like gay marriage and pushing their religious conservative agenda through Appellate and Supreme Court judges. I remember hearing McCain say that he was in favor of his state deciding about gay marriage; however that if they allowed it then he would be in favor of a US constitutional amendment...i thought wtf? what happened to states' rights....it shouldnt be only when its convenient.

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 1:40 PM

it wasn't a fundraiser last night i don't think, it was free, just a party. as for mayor of smokolona, never. this time next year i'll be out that joint. yarmuth does still own the leo, however he's no longer editor

brent, i agree that republicans lost their way, but bush was always someone who tried to please democrats, and in turn, they never retaliated, and the conservative base resented him for trying to be less conservative. mccain would've done the same thing, reaching across the aisle and all that. my hope and my guess is that republicans will move more towards the right instead of trying to be in the center, for smaller gov't, states rights, etc...

Newsweek has a good behind the scene's report on the McCain and Obama camps that looks interesting. I thought this tidbit was juicy:
"McCain himself rarely spoke to Palin during the campaign and aides kept him in the dark about the details of her spending on clothes because they were sure he would be offended. Palin asked to speak along with McCain at his Arizona concession speech but campaign strategist Steve Schmidt vetoed the request. "

Sounds like McCain really was not running the campaign he wanted to run...

what's interesting is if you look at the numbers, fewer people voted this year than in '04, only like 118-119 million voted, so much for record voter turnout and how young voters are going to finally drive to the polls in masses like we hear every 4 years

Phil on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 4:39 PM

huh? everyone is saying that this is going to be the highest turnout since Kennedy and maybe the best in 100 years. The AP is reporting 136.6 million voters or 64.1% as compared to 122.3 million.

Phil on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 4:40 PM

here's the link:
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5...wbT8JQD948LJRG0

Although I think young people still only made up 18% of the total voters, which is about average. More young people voted this year, but so did a lot more minorities so it kinda evened out I guess

douglas on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 4:44 PM

i hadn't read anything about it, but on cnn and fox's sites they had the vote tallies at like 62 million and change for obama and 55 and change for mccain, and i think there were still a few precincts in Cali and Alaska that hadn't been tallied yet. i did see something last night where old people over 65 as a % came out in extremely high #s. obama won though b/c he got the majority of white men from what i understand, which is always the bellwether, no one's ever won without getting that voting block

Bloomberg does a good job counting it up. The article I linked to is 6 hours old and theirs is a bit newer: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?...&refer=home

Looks like the answer is somewhere in between the two numbers. Much higher than 2004, but definitely not "unprecedented."

Bigworm on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:03 PM

And on completely non-election related news. I just found out Audi is going to start putting its DSG transmission into US cars replacing the CVT automatics. I believe starting in 2009 with the A3 and then 2010 with the A4. For the record, I have a boner just thinking of that.

I know some people just love a classic 6 speed manual transmission. But the DSG utilizes automated twin clutches, one controlling the odd gears and the other the even gears and from everything I have seen, the DSG outperforms the 6MT on the power curve.

Wrecking Crew on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:34 PM

Fucking politicians, they are all douchebags. From what I've read so far, I agree with a couple of Cuban and Brent's comments. No vote is better than an uninformed vote. Voting for race, sex, or some other asinine reason is retarded. And, like Brent, I believe I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal (for the most part.) My vote came down to a few things. One, I think a national healthcare system is going to considerably fuck up something that is already bad, and not just for physicians. As things are, you can get healthcare if you try, and it's even easier for your kids. But I do not agree everyone has a right to healthcare, survival of the fittest goddamn it. I think Christians should stay the hell out of national government (abortion, gay marriage, euthanasia.) Iraq has been pretty much a complete disaster in my opinion. I am pro union to protect workers, but I agree they probably have a little too much power in this day and age. Physicians need to form a sort of union (i do not believe the AMA or other medical associaitons count) to protect us from insurances and national healthcare. Finally, I want someone who is going to benefit me financially. And I think we all agree, that most of us are self serving assholes who want what is best for ourselves and our families first and foremost, and how society is affected will take a backseat. With that being said, you can come to your own conclusion about who I voted for.

Brock on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:35 PM

Wrecking Crew on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:38 PM

Wrecking Crew on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:41 PM

No

Jay on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:41 PM

Are we still having a XXX throwdown? Just to throw this out there, I'm being gay the first two weekends in December (Michelle's birthday is Dec 6th and and we're going to Gatlinburg on the 12th.)

Wrecking Crew on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:42 PM

Remember the Baldwin game? I was thinking about voting for Chuck Baldwin just for that reason until I saw that he was a Baptist pastor.

Brent on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:47 PM

We're throwing down for Phil's birthday at the house bar at O'sheas, Friday December 5th, after work, I would say 6ish.

Wrecking Crew on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 5:48 PM

I think Nov 22 would be a good weekend for it. Or early December, but that kinda kills it for Jay. Speaking of which, Cuban had a helluvan idea. The BBC brewery down by Slugger Field rents their place out for $25 an hour with your own bartender serving $2 pints. We would have to bring our own food, though, but it would be a great way to start a party for a few hours away from the bar scene before joining the bar scene.

Cuban on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 6:00 PM

Brent on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 6:01 PM

Phil on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at 6:38 PM

I might just have to buy that newsweek book on the election. Looks pretty funny:

NEWSWEEK has also learned that Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.

wait, there is a 22 page PDF about foam fingers? And a judge ruled on the foam fingers?

Bigworm on Thursday, November 06, 2008 at 11:53 AM

Yep.

And the best part are the comments this guy makes during the trial. It is documented in court that this guy only wanted to sell enough hands to buy some beer and that Auburn adopted the spread offense this year that failed miserably.

Second best part is that this guy is an Auburn Alum and is getting dicked by his university. I mean the guy only sold about 15 foam hands.

Wrecking Crew on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 4:39 PM

Wes, I don't know how many bars are on the entire thing. I think if you complete it there is no way you'll remember the number. Technically, we didn't do the whole thing either. One of the chief resident's lives by Big Dave's (which is now closed), so we started there. At the start, I think we pretty much only skipped Bambi Bar, Kern's Korner, and Left Field Lounge, and we skipped O'Shea's because the line was too long, but there were still plenty of places to drink. I may have worried some of my co-workers because I could name every bar in order before we got there, and I had to push the party along. Fuckers drink to slow and wanted to skip too many places.

Phil on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 4:45 PM

What is remarkable is that the internet contains no official list of the bars. Farthest I ever made it was Flanagans, but most times I've done it in a large group we end up at freaking Za's eating pizza and passing out.

You need to hit it hard and strong with people dedicated to the cause. No mixed drinks, no socializing and now playing a game of pool or anything.

Btw, I stumbled on this while searching for the Bambi Walk:

"60 Furlong Stumble" (on the front) and you can add a liquor bottle jumping a hurdle or steeplechase or something like that.

And on the back I am going to steal this from Phil's original post.

"At about 7.5 miles, the 60 Furlong Stumble is not for the weak. It isn't for the timid. It ain't for the bitches. It's for the glory (and the bitches that come with the glory)."

And the list of the bars on the back.

I had a performance appraisal at work today. I am fully successful but I missed the exceptional ranking by .4 points on my daily production standard. I was exceptional on 4 of the 5 categories. I am being nominated for an award at work. If I was exceptional it would be an award of $2000 but since i am only fully successful it is $500. To be exceptional you need 8.75 pts per day. I easily waste that much production time on the Sci to make up the difference. Basically I am bored and lazy and want to blame it on something else.

I so wish I could be with the massive contingent of UC fans planning to flood Papa Johns. They are coming out of the woodwork (insert Joe or Phil witty retort here).

Michelle, Clemson Jen, and I were watching the UC-West Virginia game in downtown Nashville last weekend next to two tables of drunken WVU fans. The girls pulled out the UC chants about 30 seconds before total disaster, but it was nice to finally say "We got 'em" in OT.

Phil on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 11:18 AM

Brock on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:30 PM

Wes might be wearing his skin at the moment.

Brent on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:48 PM

Yeah, what's funny is the girl started out as a 7 when we thought she was a lesbian, then her teeth brought her down to a 6, three to four beers later and a jaeger bomb, she went up to an 8.

Will Hunting could not solve the threesome algorithm.

Brent on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:51 PM

Phil, what you should of asked and would have been a lot more interesting to know...what would it take Ruth(the real lesbian) to have a threesome with another guy involved. Say Angelina Jolie, Phil, and Ruth....its like the double whammy for you two but who knows maybe that's the only way Angelina would do it, watching you two pretend to enjoy each other.

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM

where did this lesbian come into play?

Jerome on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:02 PM

The only way Phil would be allowed to play in a lesbian threesome is if they had a 2:30 tee time.

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:05 PM

It all goes back to the 3-some standards. His are to high. He was allowed to play just didn't RSVP.

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:07 PM

Excellent burn by the way Jerome.

I was talking to my uncle Tim yesterday and I told him that you should try playing a bell choir solo some time because I think you could pull it off. He said it would probably sound better then the entire choir playing. So either you are good with the bells or you suck as a conductor, which is it?

Jerome on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:11 PM

I suck at doing solos. I can conduct ... I just can't teach. But if the rumors are true about some of my choir members, we can out drink any other church group out there ... and that's saying a lot.

douglas on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:19 PM

i know we're all very proud of you for that accomplishment

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:19 PM

Tim likes to drink the beer. Candy and my mom I am going with no. Who elese you got, elf shoe's mom?

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:20 PM

I know one member of the choir works at brown foreman but i don't know if he is allowed to drink.

Jerome on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:28 PM

he can ... Mary who lives across from the pool can throw it down ... the new people can as well. I think elf shoe's mom can too. But we now have a junior at St. X. I'm just assuming he can.

Phil on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:34 PM

The only solos that jerome can do well are his 3 o'clock tee times...with his dick and a copy of barely legal.

Humph.

Fun things phil tried to do last night:
* When teeth girl told me she had a kid I told her that her body was pretty fantastic for someone with a kid. This led to a 5 minute discussion about how much c-sections suck
* Told teeth girl that I was jealous that Chris got some booty in the bathroom of fourth street on Wednesday and that the bathroom at bearnos seemed spacious enough. This led to her grabbing my ass and telling me she would if her boyfriend wasn't sitting outside.
* Tried to get Trivia Nick's cousin number. Failed. Miserably.
* Took mean waitress' drunk sister home and watched a movie and drank PBR with her roommate. Cool guy.

joe on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:50 PM

MALE. Louisville is very true to place. He's short. He's HISPANIC. And one day he hopes to carry on in proud Louisville tradition and race thoroughbreds.

I also like Marquette
Marquette, on a scale of 1-10, she's a six. A B-, C in every category you can define a person by. Her defining characteristic is you don't really remember her. You're not breaking your arm to get to her, but you're not chewing it off to get away. She does have a winning personality though. Midwest, sweet girl.

As a UC fan, you have to fend off fans from all directions: Xavier, UofL, UK, tOSU. Its a brutal place, and you've got to gloat when you can. Here's to a UC-Ohio State Orange Bowl. A nice rout of the Buckeyes in a BCS bowl would just be the cherry on top.

Wrecking Crew on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 12:13 PM

The UL-UC game was fucking miserable, and the weather wasn't even the worst part. Our tickets were next to the UC section, and I think they may have outnumbered UL fans (they were at least louder.) The refs fucking sucked, but for the most part, I think they sucked equally both ways. I have been giving Kragthorpe the benefit of the doubt with all these losses given the fact that players have graduated and he's kicked out "bad apples," but I really think he's retarded now. He, or his staff, made some unbelievably stupid calls. Fuck it, lets get on with basketball season.

Phil on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 2:18 PM

All I really would like to see is two things:

1) An explanation of the call where they moved the ball back a yard on replay
2) An explanation of why we ran three straight sweeps, including one on third and long, and then tried a 48 yard field goal with a kid who has never kicked longer than 35 this season. And it's raining. And he's barefoot. Come on. My guess in Cantwell couldn't throw because of his ankle or something that series.

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:39 AM

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jai Lucas transfer to UK after seeing our PG woes this early on. Porter has been exploited against the exhibition teams and now VMI. He is 3rd string at best.

0-2 is going to hurt badly.

Wasn't a good weekend for UK fans, that is for sure.

And I think I was just flagged for roughing the kicker.

joe on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:41 AM

was the kicker barefoot in the rain?

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:43 AM

I don't know, I didn't even watch the game. I just read about how we had 3 roughing the kicker penalties and apparently a questionable roughing the passer penalty after we intercepted the ball.

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:43 AM

UK has to beat UT now, it is a must. We are still going to a bowl game regardless, but I am going to be so pissed if we lose 3 in a row.

joe on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:07 AM

Is UT all that is left?

I can see UL pulling a 5 game losing streak. We are at 3 which is the longest since ron cooper was around. We have West Virginia and Rutgers to go. How often does a football team have more losses then a schools basketball team?

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:07 AM

as for UK, I have absolutely no illusions as to the whipping we'll be taking tomorrow. i doubt lucas would come to UK though, by the time he can play next year, liggins should (knock on wood) be solid, plus there's two PG's coming in next year, one of which is a stud. i just want UK to not be sucking by the time I start going to their games this year, i got season tickets thru my aunt who lives in lexington, so i don't wanna go see a bunch of retards trying to dribble the ball up the court

Cuban, Kentucky does not assess points for out of state tickets.

joe on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 12:28 PM

Out-of-state speeding citations do not transfer back to Kentucky. (This does NOT apply to speeding citations received in a commercial vehicle.) If the citation requirements are not satisfied, Kentucky’s Division of Driver Licensing is notified and sends a letter notifying the driver they have 30 days to do so. If the requirements are not satisfied within 30 days, the license is suspended and the driver must pay a $40 reinstatement fee for a new license. All other moving hazardous violation citations received in
another state transfer back to Kentucky and the appropriate points are assessed to the driving record.

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:01 PM

Barry - Typically ESPN gets insider information from coaches or family members. I know ESPN told Patterson they would broadcast his news conference nationally if he would tell ESPN who he was committing to a 1/2 hour before the announcement. He refused because they wanted to know before he announced.

I would say that is probably a safe bet Barry that he verballed to LSU, but as well all know...he is fair game until he signs the LOI.

So I got to see some of the UC vs. South Dakota game last night and Yancy Gates is an f'-in man-child! Think Derrick Character without the head case issues. Freshman was trying to dunk everything. Granted, it was South Dakota, but hell, we lost to Belmont and Bowling Green at this point last year. Finally nice to have some monsters back on the Bearcats.

I also saw where Kragthorpe threw a hissy fit because the UC players prayed in a circle around the Cardinal bird before the game. If the Cardinal is so sacred, you might not want to put in on the 50-yd line. I was just kind of hoping they would have jumped up and down on it again.

Does anyone have ESPN GamePlan? Is it worth $100? Trying to find a schedule for it is useless b/c they just randomly decide to show games apparently.

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:49 PM

I get my new TV tomorrow, so that is perfect timing for me to watch UK get spanked by UNC on ESPN.

Phil on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:51 PM

ESPN gameplan is kinda nice, but with insight it was a bitch to use. what would happen is that once you start watching the game they keep freaking out about you changing the channels. I guess they piggy back it on their payperview movie system, so they think that they need to warn you from channel surfing during something you are paying to watch.

Not good times.

And it's not in HD. Fuck that.

Bigworm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 3:01 PM

GBITT IX plans

Jay and Brody - let me know if there is a band ASAP. If no band, no tent.

If we aren't doing the tent Chris and I are discussing gathering money similar to what we did for the tent and go out and buy the food and booze so nobody really has to worry about supplying stuff unless they really want to bring something.

If we are minus the tent the key is to get the basement as a place where people don't mind hanging out. The Jager machine is still down there from last year.

Douglas, you think we can get your weight set out of the basement?

Any other ideas anybody wants to bring to the table?

Phil on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 1:37 AM

cops are here..

Phil on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2:54 AM

Police on the scene, you know what I mean?

"Allegedly" one of my neighbors decided to fire his gun. I went out to investigate and saw nothing. My neighbors and I concluded that it was someone firing a gun in the condos above ours and we just heard an echo. Or maybe a car backfired. Something weird. They were worried it was a car window getting busted out because their cars got broken into last week.

30 minutes later banging was heard. My neighbors went out to investigate. I figured it was my neighbors getting locked out because they had seven people over. Well, dude on the bottom floor aimed his gun up the dudes that live two doors down from me and they skedaddled. My other neighbor's girlfriend saw the dude with a gun too.

Both households called the cops

Cops roll up 6 or 8 strong, guns drawn yelling at this dude to put down his weapon about 10 minutes later. One cop had a shotgun. Awesome. So I hear this commotion and head outside like a moron. So I'm out there and the cops are chatting with me, and the dude is yelling "So I guess I'm not allowed to do this in my neighborhood?!" By "this" I guess he meant shoot out the window of his Mercury SUV and wave his gun at people.

MEANWHILE my neighbors are pretty stoned. And they are the ones that called cops. So the cops need to interview them, but it's freezing cold so they suggest they go inside to their place. Being stoned they said "sure." Well, it's not exactly a drug free zone. So these guys are freaking out. One dude is even worried because he had a handycapped parking sticker that expired for his broken foot.

Well, the police just made of them for being so stupid and thanked them for their cooperation. He took down my statement and now I might get subpoenaed for the trial. Then the cop looked at me and said "but let's be honest, this guy would have to be pretty stupid to want a trial fpr a case where he drunkenly threatened 5 people with a gun and shot out the window of his car. Plus no way in hell does he remember this tomorrow."

Good times. Good times

Btw, I think the dude was a resident at the VA.

Douglas - Arthur is Peter's/Nathan's/Gabrielle/Sylar's dad and he can steal people's powers.

Gabrielle can transfer power from one vessell to another, he doesn't have to cut open their brains to do it and figure it out.

Hiro had his mind erased by Arthur so Ando is trying to help him figure out what is going on (he thinks he is 10) and how to control his power again.

Arthur is trying to move forward with the old Linderman plan who was just a pawn in this game.

Suresh is trying to put together the formula for Arthur so he can reverse his fuck up of mutating and looking like a disfigured monster.

Arthur stole Peter's power...but he should regain them soon enough.

Pinehurst is Arthur's company to move forward with the plan.

wes, i know, liggins will be a stud, but we need the future to hurry the fuck up, 23 turnovers against vmi, like 28 or something last night. UK's half court defense actually looked pretty good, the problem was they hardly ever got to use it b/c they kept turning the damn ball over b/c they didn't have a good PG to run the offense, so UNC was running and gunning. Granted, NC was damn good and we won't be playing any more good teams for awhile, it's just frustrating. they'll be a different team at the end of the year, and they're light years ahead of where they were at the beginning of last year

Brock on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 9:17 AM

Not to turn this into a total nerdfest, but I would argue that of the new set of 3 Star Wars, Episode III is probably the least gay. Slaughtering children with a lightsaber doesn't seem very homo, but I could be wrong.

We should definitely get the opinion of the Burkets, because they are the experts of judging gayness levels.

Phil on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 9:29 AM

well, one and two were just so damn bad it never occurred to me to even go and see three. So while it may be the least gay of all three of them, the other two's gayness prevented me from seeing the other ones.

It's like wandering down bourbon street and you hit the gay bars. You accidently walk into the first one because you've wandered into all the other bars and they've been cool. But holy crap, it's dudes making out. So you high tail it out of there, decide to give the next bar a chance because what are the odds of two gay bars in a row? But now! EVEN GAYER THAN THE FIRST.

And unless you really like gay bars, i see no reason to keep walking.

joe on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 9:55 AM

I think that summed up its gayness perfectly.

Phil on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 10:54 AM

I never found out a technical reason why they do it that way, but I assume it has to do with the bandwidth available for the channels so they can't just open the faucet for everyone at once in fears of the system getting over ran or something like that. Not to mention support calls and other stuff.

But who knows, we might get home and we'll all have a shit ton of new channels.

Someone better play Thunderdome with Wes tonight because he's going to be legally too old to play Thunderdome anymore.

Brock on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 12:37 AM

First, I expect Wes to have ripped his sweater off like the Incredible Hulk by now.

Second, since I last referenced Beyond the Thunderdome, I just watched Doomsday. Decent flick, if you liked Beyond the Thunderdome. So basically, Doomsday is Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome set in Scotland. Mad Max is played by a hot brunette. Well done Scots, well done.

Finally, cheers Wes, we toast you with a Captain Jimmy.

I have to give douglas credit for the move of the day. Douglas just sent an email to my VA work account entitled "Louisville Anthrax Scare." I see a red flag in the system popping up. Props on the fact that it was a UL football joke that was pretty funny.

douglas on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:04 AM

i do what i can, i can't wait to watch the news tonight. Here's the email:

ANTHRAX SCARE AT LOUISVILLE

Louisville football practice was delayed nearly two hours late this morning after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Steve Kragthorp immediately suspended practice while police and federal agents were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the goal line. Practice was resumed this afternoon after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

For everyone that I saw out on my bday, thanks fellas it was a good time.

Phil on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12:22 PM

I'd like to also thank everyone who made sure i got home alive. When will I learn that when you start drinking at 5pm that there is no way you are acting like a sane person by 10:30.

I lost my credit card at willy's and just didn't feel like going back for it. Amex is good about overnighting you a new card so I figured that it would be easier to just get them to that rather than having to deal with willy's sober. So I called up the amex people and they were going through the charges for the night and the guy on the phone goes "so, on friday it looks like you went to o'shea's pub, flanagan's pub and the last charge is at the dublin cellar." My response was simply "sounds about right, and it explains why I woke up not knowing where my card was."

He chuckled.

Amex is good people.

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12:25 PM

strong work. How often do you leave your credit card places?

Phil on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12:29 PM

Since Molly's and the o'shea's family of bars went to the "hey phil, let me run your card and give it back to you policy" it has been a while. But I think this is the second time I've left it at willy's, and the second time I just reported it lost.

Brent on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12:30 PM

I find that if I leave without paying and just let the bartenders add the tip, I make out a lot better.

Phil on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12:32 PM

Exactly. Brent, I got your message on Sunday morning as I was getting out of my car. I decided to check the voice mail and aborted the mission when I saw a strange car in the driveway.

Then I had to watch the fucking Rams play along with the Titans getting waxed. Not good times.

NHL team. A guy on my team got some tickets in the first level, home goal line 15 rows up. Basically we are driving down there and driving back up the same night because they are all lame and have jobs.

You ever get to any of their games?

An FSU player that can read and an FSU player not in the news for going to jail is more impressive.

Bigworm on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:37 PM

I remember ESPN talking about him when UK played FSU last year in the Music City Bowl, he is way to driven (probably why he is on path to be a neurosurgeon), he graduated in 2.5 years from FSU with a 3.75 gpa and being named a Rhodes Scholarship. Shit I took 12 hours a semester my last 3 semesters. I am lazy.

Bigworm on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:42 PM

Hey does anybody want to go to the UK game tonight?

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:43 PM

I am torn on the idea of the private jet to take him from the interview to the game. Would they let any athlete do that or was it just because it was football? Also, I didn't like it because not every school could arrange that. It was only possible because it was a big school and a top sport.

Bigworm on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:47 PM

Adrian - can you post the house on here?

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:27 PM

Interesting on the Myron Rolle thing, he is in his 3rd year at FSU and he is already 22. Most 4 year students graduate at 21 or 22. If he is a genius why didn't he graduate at 19 or 20? I am curious at how he ended up behind a a year or 2.

Cuban on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:31 PM

For the record, FSU players have never had a problem reading or writing.

The problem is they get arrested, cheat, fight, or get hook-ups at clothing departments. Aside from that, they are model students.

Phil on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:45 PM

I don't think he's behind a year. He just turned 22 last month and he graduated from college last year. So he was probably was around twenty when he graduated from undergrad.

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:48 PM

Did he redshirt?

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:49 PM

All I am saying is if he were to graduate in 4 years instead of his 2.5 he would be graduating at 23 without redshirting.

Bigworm on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 4:16 PM

He already graduated, but once you graduate you can continue playing football. I respect him because he could have already ended his career and did stuff for humanity, but he decides to gut out college football and live in his hay day.

I bet he reads this site daily and realized he is having the time of his life.

joe on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 4:22 PM

i understand you can do that. However he is only in his 3rd year of college and is 22 already.

Phil on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 4:36 PM

well, he didn't redshirt. he graduated from high school in jan of 06 and freshman of the year in 06.

But that also means he was 19 when he graduated high school and turned 20 his freshman year. So Joe is right - there is a missing year in there some place.

Cuban on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 5:02 PM

I don't think it matters, he probably had smart parents and they figured they could hold him back a year in kindergarten or something and he could possibly dominate high school football when he got there.

The fact that he was actually a genius was a bonus. Most of us who played in high school and college athletics wish our parents would have done the same thing.

Brock on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 9:25 PM

I've been to a couple of Predators games. Pretty good time, especially with some tall brews.

Driving down and back in one evening is pretty brutal. That's 3 hours both ways even if you are hauling ass. You also lose that hour on the way back, so you probably won't be home until 2-3am. Bold though.

Brock on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 9:27 PM

I also like reading about the bowl breakdown....

joe on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 2:20 PM

I read that earlier in the day. At some point I would think hey we are down 20 lets try something different. There is a reason he is not coaching on tobacco road any more or with Gary Williams and ended up at Loyola of Maryland. Keeps this up he will be coaching at the YMCA of Maryland. I could see Kragthorpe and Brohm trying to do something dumb like that.

joe on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 2:22 PM

Being proud of holding him scoreless on 0-3 shooting is like being proud of breaking up a no hitter with a bunt single when down 10 to 0.

Phil on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 2:35 PM

I'm not sure how I'd feel if I was the rest of the davidson team. I think I would have tried to put up more than 78 points.

They also mentioned that their leading scorer couldn't score off because he was busy guarding Curry. Do you think Curry decided to just cherry pick and see what happened? I would have.

Thankfully there is no video, and every AP photo that I can find feature Curry with the ball. Way to go AP. The photo everyone wants to see is curry standing with his hands on his hips in the corner with two dudes standing next to him as play goes on 20 feet away. Is that too much to ask?

Brock on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:40 AM

As I told my dad, the winner would be decided by the team that does the least number of retarded plays. My prediction held true as K-State decides not to shoot the open 3 with 13 seconds left and instead drives the lane and off the leg.

In the last minute, the drive the lane and off the leg play was completed 3 times by UK, twice by K-state. I would agree, that's strange and comical.

UK was up by 17 at one point even though we had 20+ turnovers. We ened the game with something like 30 turnovers and still got the 2 point win.

What blows my mind the most is the lack of adjustments Gillispie employs (or doesn't employee) during the game. When we were up by 17 and K-State made a run he never once called a TO to regroup the troops. Why would any coach completely give away the momentum in a gamethat is dominated by momentum?

Pettigew was Mr. Basketball and is from Etown but no major offers came because he was a 6'5" forward. I wanted that kid to be a cat big time, mainly because he was a local kid...but he has also always proven to be a good player regardless of who he was playing.

Billy G couldn't extend a scholarship offer to Pettigrew because he would have had to waive AJ Stewart, not like he could have waived players from their scholarship when he just got here.

So for all the UK rednecks, I'll say it. Damn you Tubby.

You know who was a great local talent UK got, Brandon Stockton.

Don't forget Josh Carrier and current UK player Jared Carter.
