The Ballad of Natty Sci

Sorry this takes up so much space.  I don't know how to post a file.  Hope you enjoy it.

They came from the hills
With steel in their hands
Ready to fight the dawn

Their enemies tried to
Stand in their way
Singing Satan’s song

The battle began and
Many were wounded
The siren Danielle did strike

The god of the stadium
Laid down his wrath
Wanting their heads on a pike

Ian beat them that
Fateful day, but
They would soon return

The fight was not over
Nor would it be
‘til all of their foes did burn

This is the ballad of Natty Sci
Kings among men were they
Their legend shall live on forever
And they will win the day

Many months later
The siren is back
Trying to stop their crusade

Tho’ her armies fought bravely
The battle did end
Into the grave she was laid

This victory of
The ancient times
To this day still rings in our hearts

More foes would come
To do them in
But they would be torn apart

This is the ballad of Natty Sci
Kings among men were they
Their legend shall be forever
And the will win the day

Wow. I can't spell singing. I am stupid. Phil, can you tell me how to edit my posts? Sorry for screwing up the site.

And I thought I had some free time coupled wth creativity

I don't have a way to edit posts. Yet. It is on the docket for the next version of NattySci. Until then, everyone point and laugh at Jay.

Actually, it only took me like five minutes to write that. I have a buttload of creativity.

A "Jay Sized Buttload"™ of creativity is a scary thought.

Yes. Scary, but wonderfully beautiful.

All I can say is "WOW". Are you working on the musical background for the nattysci theme?

Church on Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 1:31 PM

For music how about the music from that old Flash Gordon movie. WHo's drinking tonight

that is fucking genius!!!!

Jay on Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 11:48 PM

Of course I have music for it. Just a matter of learning how to play guitar that fast.

Would this be a Power Ballad? Can we get Styx or White Snake to play it? I'd prefer Great White but they're still getting too much heat now.

Jay on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 12:37 PM

No, its more of a heavy metal ballad, like Iron Maiden, Man-o-War, or Judas Priest, something like that.

A Dean Roar after each refrain may add a little edge to the ballad.
